Here's how you can create custom skins and skinpacks for Minecraft: Wii U Edition, if your Wii U is modded:

SUPER IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
Do not continue if you intend to use skins that are NSFW, NSFL, or otherwise go against the Pretendo rules. ExpertGem is not responsible for if you get banned because you used such skins.

1. First (assuming you have a computer running Microsoft Windows), download PCK Studio (https://github.com/PhoenixARC/-PCK-Studio/releases) and extract the contents of the downloaded ZIP.

2. Run the EXE, then, once opened, find and select the "File" tab, then select New --> Skin Pack. Give the skinpack a name; this name could be a group of all skins you intend to add to the pack.

3. If there's a Skins.pck already in the new file, delete it. Now, right click the area below the file hierarchy and select Create --> Skin.

4. Select Auto-Gen for Skin ID, then give your skin a name. You can also add a theme name (kinda like a description, i.e. Fallout 1).

5. Now, we need some skins. Either create your own on Planet Minecraft or use sites like namemc.com and search for the skin(s) you're interested in. When you download the skin, if you are given multiple different options, download the option that looks distorted (its basically just textures thrown into a photo).

6. Add that skin to the Skin Creator, add a cape (optionally), then click on Create Skin.

7. Rinse and repeat steps 3-6.

8. Under localisation.loc, edit the display names as needed. You can also add multiple different languages if desired.

9. On the file 0, go to the right side of the screen where the file properties area displayed. Make sure the PACKID has a value in here, or add your own. Just be sure it's not being used by another pack in game.

10. Save the file as a .pck.

11. Now, it's time to add the file(s) to the Wii U. First, find the title ID of the game, and make sure you have SDCafiine downloaded. In SD\wiiu\sdcafiine, create a new folder with the name of your game's title ID. You'll then need to make a folder inside of [TITLEID] with the name of your modpack.

12. Then, inside that folder, create another folder, content. Open that folder up, and create a WiiU folder. Enter that folder and create DLC folder. Then open that folder.

13. Now, create one more folder. This one should be the name of your skinpack. Paste the .pck into that folder. Now, your hierarchy should look like SD\wiiu\sdcafiine\[TITLEID]\[MODPACK_NAME]\content\WiiU\DLC\[SKINPACK_NAME]\[SKINPACK].pck.

14. Insert the SD Card into your Wii U and start it up. Then, launch Minecraft.

15. SDCafiine should automatically boot the game with the newly created modpack.

16. Open the skin changer menu, and search for your new skinpack. You can now select your custom skin(s)!

You can also do this on Cemu. We'll need to back up a few steps though:

11. Now, it's time to modify your game files. Specifically, we need to modify its update files. Open Cemu, right-click on the game, then select "Update directory".

12. Now, locate and open these folders in this order: content --> WiiU --> DLC.

13. Create a new folder, which should be the name of your skinpack. Paste the .pck into that folder.

14. Launch Minecraft with the now modified files.

15. Open the skin changer menu, and search for your new skinpack. You can now select your custom skin(s)!
