Heck yeah. Many of my losses mostly came down to me gettin my ass kicked at the last minute instead of being heavily outclassed. I main Royal Ribbon (Birthday Girl for all yall) and sponge tyres, not only cuz it fits daisy (best nintendo girl fite me), but it's decent at turns and kicks ass acceleration wise. And not once did i feel left behind for bein the odd one out (i.e. using a kart in monkeygp)

Again, yes, there will still be many b-dashers + red monsters, but there might also be a cucumber or a roller in the room. Which, given wiimmfi has too many dolphin sounds funky kongs and bowser bikes, is a bloody godsend

I us B-dasher with roller tyres, I'll probably try red monster when I unlock them but I'm happy with my current setup and I generally perform quite well online

U dont need fbi or something, cuz that's a program to install .cia, and citra already does that, just install the modules and pretendo app and u are ready to go, i play pretendo on my phone with pablomk7 fork it works really well (but performance it's not the best mmj has a better performance and miiverse doesn't works, just games online works)
