I found a glitch to break through progression :
You can hunt a monster, not carve it and use the monster extractor to get all 5 parts from it, do a "return to village" and get back to the monster to queue all 5 part extraction again. Within the 3 days cycle you can get all parts to make all craft possible from an adult monster. (Solo world) I have not tested if it works on elder or ancient. Meaning one venomcrest has 80 skulls
By the way if you don't carve a monster you can use the monster extractor on it 3 days in a row, not sure if it is meant to be this way since if you carve it it disappears when all parts are collected with a monster extractor

Likely a bug, this has been discussed many times and they are likely aware of it now- Would like to say I believe carving Adults to Ancients should actually include this as a feature - Takes days to harvest them completely and you can come back each day for diminishing returns past the first day
Think if this is unintentional, it should be. Just with tweaks and stuff

Yeah it's likely unintentional and a bug, but should DEFINITELY become an actual thing that stays, just with its diminishing returns on successive days

Keep the system since it actually is pretty cool, plus makes sense
you never harvest monsters that huge in 1 day
But the return to village to do it again is overpowered

Tbh, monster respawns in general suck. Waiting 3 days to kill Adults/Elders/Ancients is annoying when it’s 1 of each, each eclipse, and then on top of item crafts, item upgrades.
Slogs progression a lot, can’t just hunt the monster back to back until you’re done like Monster Hunter (common example)
