ERROR : STEAM > k_EP2PSessionErrorTimeout 4 The connection timed out because the target user didn't respond, perhaps they aren't calling AcceptP2PSessionWithUser. Corporate firewalls can also block this(NAT traversal is not firewall traversal), make sure that UDP ports 3478, 4379, and 4380 are open in an outbound direction

if i cant access my router to do upnp stuff could i just open ports 478, 4379, and 4380

seemed like one of my friends was using a vpn but he duod with another friend of mine and that worked for them

I'd usually just tell you to try doing it without the vpn first and see if stuff improves, but this stuff isn't my wheelhouse

yeah vpn means all bets are off

might be traffix type x goes that way and type y goes another way

and that inherently means there's a new network "card" in your system etc

Friend vpn turned off and turned on the needed ports, finally able to get in
