the way i have had it explained to me is that when pmom is respawned, if it is allocated a spot where it doesn't fit (since which enemy respawns where is randomised to some extent) it's not spawned in
So if it spawns almost at the same spot as a baby she will get her respawn bodyblocked?
i believe it's if she's blocked by the environment
ie a baby spawned very close to a wall. pmom rolls that location and doesn't fit so she doesn't spawn

How can we get the respawn zones to display orange within this page cleanup for R7E1
This page has had so much added to it recently that editing in source is pain
(It’s a very good page now don’t get me wrong)
well if it's orange it's because it's linked so {{Cocoon|RESPAWN ZONE}}
it helps for better legibility to break up sentences with bold, underline, italics, and orange links so it doesn't look like one giant text block when trying to find particular details
still to be used where appropriate
you can see these conventions to where I have extremely important information underlined, bullet points in italics (with exceptions like the following screenshot), and zones (Zone if referring to a particular #) in bold

I have done this by mixing it with fact, on the R5E1 page. Naturally it lists normal route and has Trivia for Cell Skip. The opinion is mixed with a fact that Fog Repellers are ONLY found in Z529 Lockers and if you don't know that, you will have a significantly worse time trying to enter Z530, and that it's a really good idea to take them for the alarm
for normal route clears that becomes basically a necessity of knowledge

you aren't required to take the repellers but that alarm room is tiny, enemies path to all doors in the room to break them, and the room is full of fog and spitters so it's a pretty horrible experience without repellers since the alarm is all full team scans
that alarm is where I see most normal route clears fail

The issue with the mg text is random bits that dont even really explain anything but also are wrong (mgs dont struggle in killing bigs, they are slow at it. Efficiency wise they are actually ok for that too)
The recoil is heavily overplayed aswell
The efficiency point is the only thing true. Their base ammo doesnt rly counteract it too well. That coupled with them having pretty slow time to kill. A charge up and long reloads is why they arent that great

The issue I had was with those notes saying "(don't try it)" and all it feels discouraging and unnecessarily critical
I know that Veruta is a bad gun and there are better alternatives but there are better ways to express it than outright just discouraging everyone

what's on there is very relevant; like how teleporting to Alpha Two unlocks the achievement for killing a P-Mother without taking any damage from Baby Strikers is unlocked for free because the level itself kills her but it counts as prisoners doing so

what notable bugs are there? scout bombing is really easy to incidentally trigger, desync can do funny stuff, i can't think of any other frequent and relevant bug
In addition to the P-Mother spawning issues and Immortal animations, Fairly often Big Flyers and the Tank spawns get stuck behind the Flesh Wall and can randomly unstuck themselves after around a minute, so if prisoners decide to go do the Shadow code hunt they can then be ambushed during that
Glitchy collision also exists in Z447A at the end of the hall due to the elevator tile clipping into it pretty significantly
enemies getting stuck is prevalent in every level, it isnt unique to r7e1
something like this doesnt need to be there
I think on the actual level page only things you will actually encounter and/or make a gameplay difference should be there

@trim grove went to double check something before just removing it off the page... this actually does affect gameplay, if you bring pablo into this glitchy collision, he won't attack anymore while here and I got him to wallphase near locker in the corner

You are right, but it's less than you think-- I can consistently do it by crouching next to the desk in the corner and it takes only 2 tongue hits to do it, and pablo gets stuck enough that you can get out taking 0 hits afterwards

borken cell is a term from the modded server, it refers to level geometry not being properly situated and causing level generation issues, R7E1 has 12 borken cells, 1 here in Zone 447, and 11 of them in Zone 460

its not eextremely uncommon for items to be placed on somee spots and then be just kinda locked or only able to be picked up from very specific angles
sometimes bots can grab things that become stuck
I can explain what happened here, I was in dim1 and just walked off into the distance with it and dropped it before teleporting back, and the MWP teleported back with us to dim0. We tried many different angles around the rockface but it was never showing the prompt to pick it back up again, really funny

the stupid interaction hitbox for the big pickup is smaller than the terrain it was put under
some objective items also feel like they have very weird hitboxes, like dataspheres can only be picked up from the side and not if you're standing right above it, which is a problem in R8B4

btw i think i found a new bug related to terminals that get given a new command (not from base) like in r8b4 that makes it not unlock the command
here's how it happened:
on the second travelling scan (zone 159), someone started it while i was already on the terminal that gets the first venting command, but the command never appeared, even after getting off the terminal multiple times and retyping the "commands" command, it did finally appear after the hud message to vent popped up for a second time while i was off of the terminal
i dont know what other missions could have that situation happen but it was not nice to have one of us be forced to tank infection for half of the scan duration

I am one of the main folks curating the current wiki.gg to maintain a higher standard of accuracy and thoroughness for GTFO. I have several years of experience across many hundreds of successful edits and discussions with admins across multiple wiki domains, including a range from casual to strictly cited sources.
I took a look, and I am guessing that the goal here is for a 10 Chambers and/or Den of Wolves wikipedia page, with links to GTFO, as part of the accredited game catalogue?

I'd personally suggest creating the article as a draft first (instead of creating it directly in mainspace), so there's an opportunity to get the article looking decently fleshed-out before putting it in front of the general public and maybe consider if there's anything in the article, backed up by a reliable secondary source, which could be used as a fact for Wikipedia's 'did you know?' section on the main page

Generally speaking studios don’t get wiki pages until they have multiple games, unless it’s like a merger under a new name or otherwise a huge industry shift. As an example, Team Cherry, the developers of the extremely successful Hollow Knight, don’t have a wiki page

If someone wanted to add to the r8e2 wiki about the corrupt scans, i figured out how they work. From when the door is fully open, 11 events get queued. Each one is like a on/off switch. It starts at 0 and then increments by 18 seconds. So the first event starts after 0 seconds (instantly), next one after 18, next one after 36, etc all the way up to 180 seconds.
So if you want to keep the trap scan, you have to input the code BEFORE the last event, because inputting reactor code automatically turns them all off. So if you turn them off but dont have one of the events to turn them back on, they are gone forever

I just went into KDS Deep and spawned some giants in the very far Shadow zone while I was still in spawn. They still just did their typical slow march and took several minutes to get to me
Every enemy (afaik) has this mechanic, where if you are in a different room they will speed up to get into the room (some enemies like mom and stuff kinda do it but also they are i guess scared of you and will just stay in the other rooom if you are close enough). This is super obvious with tanks. As soon as you step into a different room they will start charging at you even if you are like 5m away
but giants dont "run", they just do their fast walk

The only time I've ever seen Giants full sprint is OG R2 Shadow Giants where they possess the same hobbling sprint as Strikers do
and those are terrifyingly fast because they will do that no matter how far away you are. Thankfully you didn't necessarily have to wake any of them up except the Blood Door

Giants have an unused variant called Striker Boss which is a fast crawling Giant

Most of that is remainder from initial append from raw text from tech support threads
from the top of my head:
- Cfoam launcher holding charge sound does not loop properly, so if you keep holding the charge it will stop making any sounds untill you stop charging
- If you swap from Biotracker mid charge the charge will be stored and keep ringing
- If the ping is high enough you can ping dead bodies that will not disappear even after the body dissolves
- If the ping is high enough any consumable mines or from the deployer can spawn without a laser what can lead to them not detonating when an enemy passes it
- Sometimes when sentry gets emptied it can make a sound as if it were shooting all of its bullet in an instant
- When a sentry gets emptied it can que up a shot that will be immedietly fired upon refilling (especially dangerous with sniper sentries)
- Shooter bug also does not mention that besides making foam going through the doors, sentries will also shoot through it and tripmine lasers can also go through it, so mines facing the door will instantly blow up breaking the door
