There isn't really any extra information gained from those lines. We already know Schaeffer wants us to [enter the command/deliver the collection case/find the memory stick] from other lines before that.
Same with the C3 ones: We know Henriksson wants to get us out of there.

Class X just means that its a class 10 alarm. You can do the error alarm path to remove that alarm at a terminal later

So there's always been an issue with shotgun sentry that it aims in away which misses most of the pellets.
Because of this it had very high dmg in R2, and together with sentry back dmg(gone) could easily kill giants and the like. The upped its firerate and lowered its dmg over time, so it's ammo afficiency is bad and it kills a lot of enemies quickly and quickly runs out. This is bad, because you normally want sentries to take out some of the enemies, so you don't get overrun and can make use of your ammo.

early shotgun sentry was so powerful only because it was bugged, it did more damage the more players there were in the game
don't know for certain but the only logic explanation i have is that every client calculated the shotgun sentry's damage separately
Funny bug, but since like 90% of lobbies had 4 players and I don't remember patch notes regarding the sentry during R2, it essentially became a static part of its balance
a static part of it being broken to the point where people just brought 4 sentries anywhere

Would it be better to make new log pages or put them below the logs of their original Rundown (not an issue yet since R1 didn't have logs anyway)? I'd think new pages are better when we get to ALT:R6 and the pages get a bit too cluttered.

Carbine also has a similar issue, patch notes said that the body shot damage went up (implying a precision multiplier decrease and a normal damage increase) but on the wiki it says the carbine's 4 round burst does less damage on body shots now, back to R6 damage.

Now that all expeditions will stay in the game, I think it could be worthwhile to provide a bit more information about them individually. Doesn't have to be a full guide for everything; but the maps would probably be a nice thing to have for example. We could also ask Scaler and just link his expedition guides and list the amount of resources in each zone and stuff.

It seems like there's a slight mistake on the machine guns pages: If Veruta XII does more damage then Arbalist V why does it say that Arbalist does "medium dmg" when Veruta does "low dmg"
The arbalist also no longer has a drum mag, so the image is outdated. And as far as I know, Arbalist deals more damage than Veruta.
I sure hope so, imagine having more overall ammo, better RoF, bigger clip size and on top of that more damage per bullet

cause the wiki.gg wikis are quite similar to old gamepedia ones, and i guess im not sure how everyone feels but i certainly preferred that to the current fandom one

Hi all, I've made a rather significant edit to the page for Big Strikers (https://gtfo.fandom.com/wiki/Giant), updating it to be in line with the diversified melee system. More than happy to hear feedback on it! Especially since many of the strategy descriptions now feel a bit clunky, since they rely on which melee weapons are equipped.
I might try and perform similar edits across the wiki, so I'd be quite eager to hear any problems with this edit before doing so.
I'm also just generally looking to get more involved in the wiki, so any feedback or direction is appreciated!

I feel that some pages such as Melee, Stamina, Infection, Stagger Multiplier and Reload are incredibly hard to discover, but contain a lot of really good information.
The Melee page could subsume a lot of the shared stuff from the melee weapon changes (explaining how to light/heavy attack, shoving).
I'd be happy to do the page edits, but I don't really know too much about messing around with categories

So out of all the Apparel opportunities, i've only missed like, 8 items based off the wiki, but does anyone know the list of the newest items added? i know Subterranean Garden [Palette], Model W Hyperseal [Legs], and HF Tardigrade C [Helmet] arent currently listed.
I only know one for sure: Chem Wader Hyperseal [Torso]
But I believe there's one more Palette + one more Backpack from ALT R2.
Fair fair, after compiling my list vs the wiki you sent, i found im mainly missing 5 helmets (hacketts, bishops, convex scorp, convex falcon and inter piranha), 1 torso (10 national), 1 legs (rough cut) and 1 pallet (half life), but if adding on yours, then its 2 torso, 1 backpack and 2 pallet 👍

Ok so how should we handle the giant log in Alt R2B2? I tested with putting the whole thing in a wiki table but that exceeds the maximum size for the wiki.
Alternatives could be:
-Only show the very top of the log
-Link to another site like google sheets etc. where you can see the whole thing

For the objective section, which version do you like more:
Short guide in text form (top) or step by step walkthrough (bottom)?
Or both I guess ^^
I like having them both, but I think for levels with more convoluted objectives the short overview could drop some of the detail
Would an in depth walkthrough be appropriate too (e.g. detailing that there are scouts in Zone 50, giants in Zone 52 etc.)?
That'd be a lot of effort for some levels (and there are already lots of great guides), and not sure if it's appropriate for the wiki or not
you could devote a lot of time to make it step by step, short guide does the job well enough so step by step can be a long term backlog thing
i think doing it like fallout wiki does quests could work
short step by step only brining up main objectives and then a full walkthrough going through strategies/resource rooms/etc

The significant differences would be mainly in the skin/theme and the number of ads users see (mainly your non-editors see ads on Fandom, so that's not a significant difference for editors)

Thoughts on moving the "Audio" section that appears on many enemy pages towards the bottom of the respective pages?
While very cool to have, most users of the wiki are probably looking for other information, and the audio sections are generally very spacious.
Would also keep the audio close to the gallery, which seems fitting.

I've been doing some tidying up of some categories (mainly filling out the Mechanics category, hopefully to eventually make great pages like Infection and Stamina more discoverable). But there's a little inconsistency among some of them.
Should high level categories (like Weapons) be categorized under GTFO Wiki (so it's like a tree), or under themselves (or under nothing)?
There's a little of both at the moment. Category:Enemies is under nothing (but Enemies is under Category:Enemies).
But then Category:Weapons is under Category:GTFO Wiki (and Weapons is under Category:Weapons).
And then Category:Objectives is under Category:GTFO Wiki (and Objectives is under both Category:Objectives and Category:GTFO Wiki).
I'm guessing the correct way is:
Category:Something under Category:GTFO Wiki (and Something under Category:Something) as this seems to be the way most pages do it, but wanted to be sure.

I think I've cleaned up all the categories.
I've treated "GTFO Wiki" as the root category as if it were a bit like a tree. So the only things in GTFO Wiki are other categories (and a couple of high level or otherwise uncategorizable pages like "GTFO Wiki", "GTFO", "How to Play", "Game Settings" and "System Requirements").
If there is a page for a category (e.g. Weapons for Category:Weapons), then that page is categorized under that category.
If a category has a subcategory (e.g. Melee C Weapons or Logs C Lore), then the pages in the subcategory are categorized under both. Currently there are no 3 level deep categories (and I hope that never happens).
For Images categories (e.g. "Enemy Images"), it is categorized under both "Images" and whatever category of images it is.
@tough lynx Currently all of your fantastic expedition pages are uncategorized. Would you be happy with something like:
ALT://R1A1 being categorized under "Expeditions" (new big category for all the expedition pages) and under "ALT://Rundown 1.0" (new category for all the expeditions in R1, with corresponding ones for every rundown).

The rundown pages themselves were much more basic beforehand. We had some discussion of a navbox when we started fleshing them out - if it should include the levels for a given rundown as part of an auto-expanding box etc. but never got around to it, nice work for adding it!
By the way, I've added a new WeaponInfo template, which can be used to display more stats about weapons directly on the wiki pages, via the power of maths. Haven't gotten around to replacing all the existing infoboxes on all the weapon pages with WeaponInfos yet, and I probably should get some sleep now.

Okay, serious question: Does anyone know what the actual bulletCost capacity for tools is?
Trying to update the sentry infoboxes with the complete stats, I have found the individual bullet costs of the sentries, but it looks like the value that I first thought was the tool ammo capacity for players (150) is actually wrong (seeing as that capacity would cause the sentry ammo capacities to be completely wrong - for example, the sniper sentry (cost of 16) would only get 9 shots total).
If anyone knows what the actual capacity value is, mind letting me know?
My guess is 525
It fits the maths pretty closely
525/1.95 = 269.23 for burst
525/16 = 32.8125 for sniper
It does seem to be a bit off for the shotgun sentry though (525/1.8 = 291.666...), unless for some reason the shotgun sentry's cost is actually per-pellet (in which case 525/1.8/5 = 58.333..., which is a bit more of a reasonable number)
its 58 max, so seems to fit

Hi all, I've created a page for Alarms and moved a lot of what was in Security Doors regarding alarms into there, as well as expanding on and clarifying what was there. Rationale being that alarms are not necessarily tied to doors (e.g. gen clusters, extract alarms, etc.).
I believe I've gone though all the pages that link to the old Security Doors#Alarm Doors and directed them to the new Alarms page, but if I've missed one please feel free to fix it! Additionally, if you are creating new pages please feel free to link to the new page Alarms instead (particularly for new pages for levels).

Full team:
- scanspeed that scales with player numbers
- scanspeed that doesnt scale with player numbers (see tscans like r6d2)
Not full team:
- cluster
- small red
- big red
- extraction
- extraction with object (no player scaling)
- and r7b1 tscan which doesnt scale
For full team scans that scale and extraction scans theres a ton of variation but i can give you the general idea for it.
Lets start with the easy stuff tho:
Cluster scans:
1 player - 1.33… seconds
2+ players - 1 second
Small red:
1 player - 3.33… seconds
2+ players - 2.5 seconds
Big red:
1 player - 20 seconds
2 players - 8.33… seconds
3 players - 6.99 seconds
4 players - 6.66… seconds
Extraction:
This seems to vary with the length of extraction (which can go from at least 20 seconds up to at least 100 seconds) but the gist is
1 player - 20 seconds
2 players - 16.66… seconds
3 players - ~14.3 seconds
4 players - 13,33… seconds
Where as for an extract with a required object it sets the speed to a non scaling one but it will go as fast as for 4 people. (Would need to be tested with smth like r4d2)
The r7b1 scan is basically the same as that btw, its a static 100 seconds
Now for team scans where the scanspeed scaling changes depending on how big the team is.
Huge sustain scan:
1 player - 143 seconds
2 players - 125 seconds
3 players - 111,11… seconds
4 players - 100 seconds
Medium sustain scan:
1 player - 100 seconds
2 players - 50 seconds
3 players - 33.33… seconds
4 players - 25 seconds
Small sustain scan:
1 player - 11,76 seconds
2 players - 11,11… seconds
3 players - 10,53 seconds
4 players - 10 seconds
Checkpoint scans and wanky ones like narrative ones in r6c1 also scale off number of members but 
Some specific variation of team scans also work like this, idk which one tho, they all should have numbers similar to this tho:
1 player - 10.64 seconds
2 players - 7.69 seconds
3 players - 6.99 seconds
4 players - 6.66 seconds
I think the only one im not sure off is stealth scans (tho i think the small ones work like small red ones)
Beware these are stats i got from someone else, but they line up with testing

I didn't add the scan scaling for S scans/team scans, as I thought this had been 'fixed'
there's always been scaling but in r4 it was completely fucked, so I assumed that there was no scaling past that
but as it turns out I was wrong so, similar mistakes I guess

Instead - It can kill sleepers with few rounds, especially with headshots.
Great hipfire accuracy, not "decent"
"as it can take up to five body shots to kill a striker or 7 to kill a shooter" (instead of making it seem like 5 for both)
I would also add that due to its stagger multiplier it is great at staggering strikers and chargers with a single shot to the body. Making it a great stagger/peeling weapon

hel pp does have piercing (otherwise lower) and dmr is lower by 0.04 dmg/refill.

id definetly add (trivia?) that pdw has the fastest reload in the game when reload cancelled. Virtually having no downtime
Carbine:
"high ammo effiency" -> its actually on the lower end (i think its 3rd worst rn)
idk why its saying high chance of stagger. Theres no stagger multi, yes it has high dmg and burst while having great uptime, but thats indirect at best.
Again for later. It doesnt have huge ammo/resupply.
The reason it does so well regardless of its burst nature and somewhat lowish ammo effiency:
Incredibly high bursts of dmg, incredibly high damage per mag for a main gun (2nd highest if you ignore pen with a noticeable gap of 23 dmg to sawed off at 3rd). With each burst being as much value as a shot of a semi auto (hel revo/dmr)
Also a personal bit, the bullets it shoots are seemingly far bigger in hitbox than others. But thats a subjective thing
DMR:
The paragraph about bigs and chargers seems written weirdly. Stating that it struggles to take them down and that for enemies without weakpoints accessible you should aim for limbs.
- it does decent dmg/mag (and generally decent dmg per shot). Obviously having low dmg/refill isnt great, not being able to 1 refill a giant.
- its actually pretty good vs chargers. The mix of each shot staggering, being a super clean 4 shot and having no noticeable damage fall off means the gun works cleanly against them at all times and ranges.
Rifle:
It is capable of breaking the heads of Strikers with a single shot, forcing a stagger
hard stagger maybe. But rifle already has enough base dmg (and a stagger multi aswell lol) to stagger them on bodyshots each time
The stagger multi is also important to add into the wiki as a point on it being able to stagger chargers with 1 bullet each.
Shotgun:
comparision to combat shotgun:
Shotgun has a better reload speed when cancelled, having one of the better reload cancels in the game.
Combat shotgun:
The most efficient weapon in the game (ignoring penetration) if you are able to land close range headshots. Suprisingly efficient (albeit dangerous vs tanks) vs bosses
Revolver:
tips -> do not always aim for the head. Do not shoot giant striker heads unless you rly rly want a stagger
Arbalist: id add that, while it does not have the stagger multi the veruta does, it can still stagger smalls with a single bullet anywhere due to its base dmg
veruta: basically same thing, just due to its stagger multi
Burst cannon:
it can not (and couldnt even pre nerf) 1 shot any giant to the head. It always needed back dmg
Also i would remove the part of its "good ammo economy". The ammo nerf + base dmg nerf of -1 lowered its potential quite a bit
could also add trivia that it shows how much even 1 point of damage can do to change a gun. (obviously other nerfs included) having it fall from being the god tier gun to a extreme niche usage boss/giant killer
Hel gun:
add chargers to "fortunately its ability to body two-shot "small strikers"
High cal:
its not high risk/high reward
Its low/medium risk at best and medium reward. Theres not much risk aside from its lowish mag and recoil. But thats turned around by easy body shot killing on strikers
High cal vs revo part:
Id add that for the revolver its 1,75 sec reload is before its cracked reload cancel is even considered
"slightly lower effective range" -> slightly lower range
effective range should be where it still kills. With both being waaaay higher than those numbers
Same for effective range on choke mod comparision (tho here it depends more since choke mods 30 dmg breakpoint actuall matters for chargers/bosses)
Precision rifle:
while being a powerful weapon. wait what?
Thermals also (at least imo) doesnt impede high range shots.
i dont think precision rifle can kill charger scouts LOL (its stated that it can)
Hel rifle:
doesnt rly server as an alternative to sniper. They have pretty different roles. Hel rifle is far close in design to old high cal or choke mod shotgun. Being a anti charger option that works decently well into giants. It doesnt have the boss killing potential of a sniper nor the efficiency vs giants unless you get insane pen
To add: on top of its brief charge up it has a decently long cool down period after each shot.
other things
rifle has good synergies with hel gun and high cal due to their dmg profile
hel revo/dmr also share these combos, but they lack the mag size (tho hel revo is just cracked anyhow)
another fun synergy is burst cannon and hel pp
