We are going to try D1 later today, I heard it is a "terminal command" mission I dont think we have ever done one of those, I am looking at the wiki and there are lots of different ones like flood gates, rerouting power. Is there a good video to learn how to do this in practice

we dont have any exciting terminal command objectives so far, the commands are just to force the players to reach certain areas to finish the map
if u mean basic single command missions, its nothing u need to prep for since its literally just putting a single command into a terminal and the challange lies in reaching that terminal
there is also uplinks, like b2 secondary
reaching the terminal or whatever it does after you've entered the command
Especially this rundown, but even before, maps don't just have 1 single objective most times, the objective on the wiki is just the objective displayed in the top left

a.k.a, they have different use cases, but sniper will blast if you can give it a good spot to shoot sleepers behind before they get to you
so it lowers the numbers
shooting the ones behind will make it easier to not waste damage

my stupid advice: if a foggy room is packed with enemies, do a sentry setup and intentionally alert the enemies by shooting one (pull the room), then retreat behind the sentries
infectious fog is something you breathe in, infection% goes up and shortly your health% will go down accordingly .. 70% infection -> 30% health etc
there are disinfect packs and disinfect stations to get rid of it but yea, green fog that goes over your head, <gandalf> fly you fools!
@zenith crest you don't need boosters for any level, given you are skilled enough, but they do help

The alarm isn't that hard if your biotracker guy does his job
we place them at the bottom of the S-scan stairs, pretty helpful as the first scan is the hardest imo
its 4 different stairs they can use in each corner, do u know which ones they take?
No but from my tries, they have a tendency in avoiding the South-West stair & will usually prefer to take the north stairs
The west side has almost no obstacles so you can place your sentry looking at north & take care of the west side kinda easily
especially since most of the scans are on the west side
For the east side however it's kinda random so place them the way you want
that class 6 alarm should not take too long tho, unless you are running team with <= 3 people (the S-scan takes much longer for each person missing unfortunately)

I personally think that Mines, 2 Sentries and Bio is the best fit for the map.
You'll find some grenades (generally) for the Class V infection area scan.
Then, you have your sentries roam with you helping you hold off areas, especially that double down-downstairs scans.
The sentries will allow you to not get superswarmed. When heading back upstairs, don't rush head first into it. Just try your best to cull the wave, then move up.
Afterwards, the 6th scan will take a while but put a sentry on both lanes and you'll be on your way to the ending :).
I won't spoil the ending since you haven't been there.

There's a bunch of doors in lockdown that are there for visual effect
when you extract the door unlocks to a lore temrinal
the one in r6d4 is the only one i noticed
You will notice that one of the "cosmetic" zones in lockdown actually is partially revelaed on the map (a zone to the west), however you will never be able to go into it
I believe R6D4 is the only level that has zones in lockdown for "cosmetic" effects. All other level's zones all have a purpose.

Public // Personal stats is actually impossible to do. The stats we get have NO user data attached to them so we have no idea which user picked up x medipacks in the run, or things like that. We store completions by individual users, but you can already see that on the rundown screen.
We specifically anonymize the data to protect you guys as players.
I guess thats fair. I did get the feeling it wasnt likely due to P2P or the fact it would probably take a lot of work to implement a feature that not everyone is going to use.

i played a game where at the end of the mission you get a breakdown of damage %
was EXTREMELY toxic
There's teams I got with, especially in the non-D levels where I know I dealt 40-50% of the dmg
I barely contribute in my team
Its normal for the dps to be unbalanced, there can be people with very different experience level in the same team
Highlighting that difference serves barely any purpose but making beginners feel like crap
People would start playing in a way to optimize their dmg and be reckless rather than working to help the team
exactly. sometimes you got people who are focusing scans or objectives and therefore deal less damage, doesn't mean they contributed less to the team

Yeah that's a concern with showing those type of stats, it turns too individual instead of team based. We designed the game for teamwork, our tagline is literally "work together, die together" (not saying you didn't know that).
So showing how many bullets fired, enemies killed, damage done, doesn't tell the whole story. what if I brought a sniper and was the guy to fight the kraken in D1, I'd probably have the highest damage output and would make me look like the MVP, but that's the thing, it just turned individual.
I guess we could sum it all up for what the entire team did, but then people would probably still ask for more and want individual. So, what should be done?
i think the one stat that doesn't detract from that teamwork focus might be showing your own weapon accuracy

introducing stats would make more problems than it solves. you can imagine people dropping out of games suddenly if a run starts to go south. people posting stats requirements to join games. then you have people who would cheat their stats in various ways, and you would have to get to know the player any way. also people just talking trash in general about stats is needlessly toxic

I managed to beat it with some friends, we just went into secondary and shot to alert each room as we entered it. Some of the layout was familiar from previous rundowns so that helped being in the fog. We made it back with less than a minute to spare but I was just curious what was going to happen if we didn't
