Not really, how it works is that it shares the same pool as alarms IIRC, the idea is that if you wake up more than one (like R6C1's scout room), the enemies spawn in "waves" according to how many "slots" are free.
By itself, no single scout in the game, as far as I remember, can fill AND go over said cap
Waking up a scout may or may not lead to an endless surge alarm
generally in like 90% of levels, each scout will spawn a wave of up to 12 enemies. but since there’s a spawn cap of 25 enemies in vanilla, anything extra will get queued up and wait until there’s space.
simplifying svs roles, weights, groups…. lol

You either need a crazy back and front shot (done that ~6 times) or just hit the wonky neck part of the hitbox where it just has no dmg reduction or crit (so scatter just kills as host)

R6 is pretty good. Overall I think most levels kinda suffer from a lack of design focus. But r6 and onward is where the game easily gets the most consistently interesting level design wise

It took us a while but here it is, over 20 minutes faster than the glitchles record.
This run uses Early Drop/Freeze Bug aswell as a massive out of bounds skip to completely avoid doing either of the objectives.

From a gameplay perspective
The weapon balance rn isn’t great. Everything feels good but there is much better options

@prisma zodiac Mines can alert enemies in neighbouring rooms, the enemy just needs to have LoS to a specific point. That point being... 1m from the mine in the direction away from the laser.
So if you place the mine on the ground, that point is just kinda always in the floor.
But placing mines on thin walls or other such things can allow alerts in neighbouring rooms.
Hm wonky but god it doesnt surprise me considering other gtfo mechanics…
But also not 1m isnt worth mentioning with how specific it is (for the guide at least). But can be a neat point for another potential quizshow question
Todays other finds include how sentry aggro works precisely:
Sentries wake enemies within 50/25/25/10m (Sniper/Burst/HEL Auto/Shotgun) regardless of number of rooms away. If the enemy is in a different room to the sentry, then they additionally need LoS to a point 1m above the sentry.
And the cursed one:
The sound from doors breaking is asymmetric. The side closer to the elevator does not require LoS to the door, while the side further from the elevator does. (Either way the range is 11m.)

This is why the area C-D door in the R8E2 respawn room is so likely to wake a bunch of enemies in area C (but typically does not wake many in area D).

Increase it pellets to 200 per shot so ut can cover a small corridor 
My best guess for this is that the LoS check is doing some goofiness with what counts as the doors position
If the door's position is like, in the floor or a wall then yeah, one side is gonna get no wakes
But the 11m is tested and correct on the non-LoS side of doors
LoS already goofy, if we remember how enemies aggro in modded with grenade launcher shots......

Small door position seems to be the dead center at the very bottom (could easily cause LoS issues with anything near the ground)
R1A1 doors also have a nice lil metal rail at the bottom of the door, which seems to completely block LoS
