#

also at least there are a lot of people dead seeing how NAM-V is

finite vine
#

um actually im not sure. but it seems like santonian was not really damaged that greatly by the energy surges.

#

I think the log was from d2

#

but yea I would agree that the world has probably gone to shit because of NAM-V

#

but im sure some powerfull organizations are still standing. potentially trying to find a cure

I've personally never seen a log past december of 2053

it seems like all logs are before 2054

Nevermind, found the Cretasium log.

#

Trying to figure out a time frame between the initial infection of NAM-V versus when it ravaged the world. Its possible to calculate mortality rate versus potential survival rate over time.

#

Which could be used to determine the approximate remainder of survivors top side.

#

Nice to see that my theory about NAM-V apocalypse from four months ago has been proven true :D

Or the devs have just been watching all the theories in the chat and stolen them πŸ‘€

fervent lagoon
#

fredy faber moment

subtle verge
#

Ok ok ok, so... I am no mathematician, so I'm more than positive that I screwed the pooch somewhere here, but:

Taking the death and infection rate of the current global pandemic (280m), and removing the vaccine which has a 95% efficacy rate, the number of potential infected individuals skyrockets to 2.89 billion people. Subtracting that, that's approximately 4.86 billion survivors. That's roughly 38% of the world population infected and gone. This is with the current R-Naught rate of 5.7.

analog frigate
#

ah ah, remember that once you have NAM-V, you can only delay it

subtle verge
#

Right, I'm getting to that.

analog frigate
#

hypothetical spread would be exponential leading to everyone that isn't isolated to be infected

subtle verge
#

That's just the current Covid-19 number.

analog frigate
#

ah alright

subtle verge
#

With NAM-V:

#

NAM-V has an R-Naught rate of 17, which is approximately 2.89x more infectious than Covid-19 (5.7). The world population by the year 2050, according to the UN, is approximately 9.5 billion.

#

With that in mind, we can do some funky math here that I'm more than positive I've left a lot of things out but bear with my smooth brain:

#

2.89 billion x 2.98 = 8.62 billion, which then means there is only, approximately, 873.6 MILLION people left alive if we follow that same trend the entire way through.

#

Which means 90.9% of the world is infected and gone.

#

Which leaves us a total of 9.1% of the human population remaining.

#

Plus or minus.

honest merlin
#

"That's a lot of damage!"

subtle verge
#

Now, I know there is much more scenarios and numbers to involve, but I just wanted to throw a complete napkin math number out there for reference.

honest merlin
#

Now then, in case the infected turn into sleepers as we see them in game... The death toll will be even higher.

analog frigate
#

i might make a simulation to test out the infection spread

subtle verge
#

That'd be a good idea. I'm not sure how to do that one.

honest merlin
#

The math doesn't need to be accurate to prove that the NAM-V apocalypse happened

subtle verge
#

In my head I was like: "Well, if the R-naught is 17, that means if one person infects 17 people, and then those people infect 17 people each, that would be an insane number (something like 8.9 quintillion)."

honest merlin
#

Is all the lore from this rundown on the timeline/archive?

analog frigate
#

mixed but yeah

#

the santonian website terminal as well

honest merlin
#

Timeline reading time it is

subtle verge
#

But putting that napkin math to a timeline, that's approximately 8.6 billion people in around 2-3 years.

#

Which, over 3 years, is 2.86 billion people per year, 238 million per month, 7.8 million per day.

#

NAM-V blasts through the contagion record, currently held by Bubonic Plague at 200 million, by day 25 at 1:30pm.

analog frigate
#

so instead of making a simulation i used one

#

after a month 99.8% of people would be infected with realistic social distancing

#

in a scenario that everyone fully obeys the rules

#

95.4% by a month

#

and in a perfect scenario where everyone does everything perfectly and the only way to infect someone is by being around 15cm from them

#

it would take around 150 days before everyone gets infected

#

97.6%

leaden dagger
#

holy shit

analog frigate
#

considering spread and public reaction

#

around 1.5 million would be alive

subtle verge
#

That is

#

Insane.

analog frigate
#

take into account that around 2/3 of that are average people just very isolated

#

at least

icy swift
#

safe to assume the world above is non existent

analog frigate

pretty much

#

icy swift
#

so a very small chance that big organizations would bbe working on cure

analog frigate
#

all researchers would've died since the parasite goes through class A hazmat suits

icy swift
#

yes

analog frigate
#

so they can't work with the virus almost at all

#

i imagine it's just all gone

icy swift
#

how fucked up it is that you can get cured from the virus for a small time but you have to trade your memories for it

analog frigate
#

and you need to be a KSO

icy swift
#

analog frigate
#

or high rank kovak/santonian employee

#

or be rich as fuck

icy swift
#

have we looked at the possible theory that this was an invasion attempt gone wrong and we stumbled upon it and restarted the process?

analog frigate
#

the meteorite didn't somehow teleport to the inner planets by their control

#

but i suppose flyers have the ability to teleport

#

but we don't know if it's at will

#

or if it can go into specific places

analog frigate
#

they make the virus dormant

#

but were originally developed for a mission to mars

mortal latch
#

Oh okay, so we are infected, but survive by retiring to our HSUs post mission

analog frigate
#

kinda

mortal latch
#

Or by dormant do you mean like shingles from the chickenpox virus where one HSU use puts it dormant indefinitely

#

Have we considered that the flyers are just natives to that dimension who were also infected. Or is it more so the infection is part of their life cycle which can jump species

analog frigate
#

there are no signs of them being mutants of other lifeforms

#

for them to be the original species makes sense

mortal latch
#

Can I mention spoilers here for D1

leaden dagger
#

ye

analog frigate
#

but it is a possibility

analog frigate
leaden dagger
#

spoilers are a given in this channel

mortal latch
#

So initially the flyers don't demonstrate any actual similarities to the infected humans, but the kraken definitely does, as it has tumors, uses the same strange biological projectiles as shooters, and demonstrates the bioluminescence of our typical human mutations

#

But yeah the flyers use a far different projectile, and have no similarities

#

Just something I immediately noticed after finishing the mission last night

analog frigate
#

tumors could be a sleeper characteristic

#

not evolved from humans

mortal latch
#

The similarities also imply the infection leads to the same physical outcomes and mutations regardless of species

analog frigate
#

that wouldn't make sense though

#

there can't be such similarities between completely different species

mortal latch
#

Yet the kraken and our human infected demonstrate extremely similar phenotype

#

Rabies is one such virus which has symptoms that remain the same regardless of species

analog frigate
#

but it's rabies that makes it the same

#

so then it would be a sleeper characteristic

mortal latch
#

Oh yes that's what I'm saying, it implies the kraken isn't the same species as the flyers

#

Something that was infected

#

How intelligent are the flyers, is this an intelligently designed virus used to turn species into tools for dominating planets

subtle verge
#

finite vine
# analog frigate around 1.5 million would be alive

that's crazy. I think this is a maze runner situation where the warden are actually good and are using prisoners' to try to find a cure for NAM-V.

I don't think the original strain of NAM-V actually causes sleepers though. We know from Dauda's audio log that he was preforming experiments on people and in turn created sleepers. It could be possible that Dauda created sleepers accidentally trying to find a cure for NAM-V...

has anything been said re: the creatures' inhuman toughness?
like, how they can get a grapefruit-sized hole punched thru their stomach and keep going?
(and don't even get me started on their ability to survive without heads...)

solar nova
#

They probably lack dependence on vital organs.

subtle verge
#

All we have is the report being currently written by Dr Grem and Associates. It'll be a ~30-page biology study of the creatures. No promises as I have no idea, but I'd expect that to get dropped fairly early next year.

#

And we know for a fact that they're not carbon-based lifeforms.

wild plank
subtle verge
#

Well, for starters, they don't eat (theory) as we see zero evidence of bones or feces left behind, only rotting corpses. They more than likely don't have a brain, or, maybe even have multiple brains like a worm.

#

For strikers, the proboscis is probably taking up a majority of the interior chest cavity.

wild plank
wild plank
wild plank
subtle verge
#

I'd put my money on malicious instinct to protect the hive, like wasps/hornets.

wild plank
#

Hmm, perhaps.

subtle verge
#

I mean, I don't know how much force is behind a striker's whip, but I'd bet you it's enough to knock you or me to our ass and break a few bones.

wild plank
#

But at the same time, what use would it serve? Usually they'd stop attacking once the prey stops moving, if they don't intend on eating it.

subtle verge
#

So imagine a swarm of them hitting you, you'd become pulp in probably seconds.

wild plank
subtle verge
#

I more mean whip as in the hit you take.

#

Not literally a whip.

wild plank
#

Ahh. Alright.

subtle verge
#

The proboscis striking you.

wild plank
#

Yeah, yeah. I always thought it was like a mix of a mantis shrimp and lamprey, because you can see there is some biting action going on there.

#

raspin

subtle verge
#

Until the biology study drops, I can only theorize of what is actually happening, you know?

wild plank
#

Ye, ye

subtle verge
#

And my thought process is that they continuously attack prey/threats when a certain pheromone is released, again like wasps/bees/ants. They keep attacking and attacking until they get the "all clear" pheromone.

wild plank
#

Yes, and Scouts could be like... I dunno, focuses for said pheromone. Like radar towers.

subtle verge
#

It's why we see hornets continue to sting corpses when defending their nest.

wild plank
#

Ahh, I see. That's reasonable.

subtle verge
#

That's my other theory, is the 'call' isn't what wakes up a bunch of sleepers/strikers, but the wave of, for lack of a better term, "incandescent pheromones" that we see pulse out.

wild plank
#

But do the base-type creatures produce these pheromones themselves as well?

subtle verge
#

As far as spitters go... I have not a damn clue how they shoot out their little balls of light, nor on how it tracks us.

wild plank
#

Nor what they even are.

subtle verge
#

I'd believe they do to an extent.

wild plank
#

Well, they'd have to.

subtle verge
#

Alternatively, I have a head canon that they actually can emit certain frequencies of sound that humans can't hear to alert other sleepers of danger.

wild plank
#

...That makes more sense, honestly.

#

Otherwise the scout wouldn't make as much noise as it did.

subtle verge
#

And they work through a really interesting variance of echolocation.

#

When I think about it, I think of an owl. If you've ever seen an owl's skull, their ears are much different than other birds and animals.

wild plank
#

I haven't, but go on

#

can I see one?

dim scroll
#

I assume the prisoners fell under severe amnesia so they can't remember things they've done before, but did they explore that part of the complex already or are they remembering different places of the complex where they had to retrieve data cubes ?

subtle verge
#

So, how the ears work: it basically creates a 3d image for the owl. It will bob it's head around in little circles/motions to pick up all of the sound it can to better track it's prey, like mice, squirrels, etc.

wild plank
#

Funky.

#

So that's why owls do that?

subtle verge
#

Sure is!

subtle verge
#

Like the data cubes are quantum tethers from one reality to the other.

dim scroll
#

would they really be alternate realities ?

#

Rather than "flashbacks" ?

subtle verge
#

I won't say that it is 100% the case, but here's my reasoning behind it: every time we pick up a cube, we're taken to the exact moment that we were dropped off by the lift, however the rooms remain the same, but the environments are much different.

#

The first time we're being chased by the floaters / strikers, the next time we're there, tons of Big Strikers, then we get the Chargers, and last we get the toxic fog.

wild plank
#

🏜️

dim scroll
#

yet we manage to go back to the "main" reality after the 4th data cube

subtle verge
#

Now, whether that's accurate or not.. I can't say for sure, I'll let the other guys and their infinite wisdom trump my head canon any day of the week.

#

But that's how I personally felt when experiencing that.

past spade
#

What if it's not sound, but touch? I'd like to think their "skin" has little hairs/tentacles on it that can detect heat and pressure changes. It would make sense to me since the infected person's head is completely mutilated once they've been taken over.

wild plank
#

still got ears

past spade
#

Then why aren't they alerted when doors open?

subtle verge
#

It's possible. Again, I know Dr Grem and Associates are working hard on a life-like biology study for most, if not all, the creatures we see. I can't say for sure what is what until that study gets dropped.

#

But boy am I pumped to read a literal ~30 page report.

Very much worth finding a group to do it with, or if you're lucky enough, a decent player who's willing to sherpa.

gilded vine
#

Who tf came up with the stupid term sherpa btw

subtle verge
#

The origin is actually a tribe of Tibetans who occupy the areas around Mt Everest.

gilded vine
#

No for the game

subtle verge
#

Oh, it's a universal thing.

#

Universal gaming term.

#

I've heard it in WoW, Destiny, etc.

gilded vine
#

Literally never heard of it

#

Why not just call them "carriers" because thats what they do

#

They carry peoples dumbasses

subtle verge
#

Yeah, the word came to be because of "casual" mountain climbing becoming a hobby, so people hired the Sherpa tribe to guide them through the safe parts of Everest, which then the word kind of rolled in to standard use.

#

I'm not sure why the gaming community picked it up, but that's your origin. Lmao.

#

I'd like to think there's a difference between a sherpa and a carry. Carries usually pull the weight of others, while a sherpa is willing to teach and guide.

gilded vine
#

In pubs, nearly noone is competent enough to learn so its all carrys :^)

subtle verge
#

True. Though, in most of the PUGs I get, people tend to leave after the 2nd or 3rd wipe, so it makes sense I guess?

I'm sure there are logs on different terminals throughout the mission(s).

I'm just waiting for Chase to compile everything tbh.

I can't find them on the lore database.

C2 audio log was most interesting to me. Right after the check point. Bishop or whoever he is i forget is talking to something sentient that isnt human and you hear it ask him how he is and stuff. Its so wierd and interesting. I wonder who or what it was. It's voice was so alien.

icy swift
#

it prolly was the thing described by shaeffer in some audio log?

the one he mentioned he was gonna kill

@icy swift oh yeah i just found the audio file dump on the wiki. yeah it was schaefer. how come he sounds a little bit like dr durant? is that anything.

i was pinged

Jeez, I hope we don't get an audio log of him getting shredded by an angry robot.

wild plank

Y'know what I just thought of?

#

They bleed.

#

The creatures DO bleed, and when they pulse we can sometimes see visible veins, or at least similar internal systems.

#

It can't just be leftovers from their origin, because then it wouldn't flow, and the spurting we see when crushing their heads
( SleeperBonk ) does imply some form of flowing.

analog frigate
#

i still have other stuff to work on

#

like your idea on why we go in only when it's raining

#

that would be groundbreaking if i manage to prove it

subtle verge
#

So long as we understand at the end of the day that not everything might have a lore reason behind it, but a stylistic choice to set the mood for the mission(s), yeah.

#

I think it'd be a cool little attention to detail, otherwise.

analog frigate
#

i imagine it would have a reason

#

yeah there is aesthetics

wild plank
#

climate

analog frigate
#

permanently raining?

#

it's either raining 24/7 or we go specifically when it rains

wild plank
#

hmmmm

analog frigate
#

both of which have interesting implications

#

but for it to rain that long

wild plank
#

could just be really bad hydraulic leakage 🀑

analog frigate
#

it doesn't seem possible even if it was a constant monsoon

#

and raining in yucatan, mexico

wild plank
#

for obvious reasons

#

perhaps it's just a generally rainy area, I dunno.

analog frigate
#

no it really isn't

wild plank
#

No?

#

When I think Yucatan, I think like

subtle verge
#

The idea behind my theory: sound is muffled over distance by rain, especially during steady / heavy rain, and I would imagine the mechanics of the drop are super loud, especially when the sound gets amplified by the giant tube we're dropping in to.

wild plank
#

Good idea, that one. Especially being that sound is a major attractor for sleepers.

#

Don't want anything crawling out, do we?

analog frigate
#

but not a rainforest

it's mostly small trees and shrubs

subtle verge

I dont think it's that, necessarily, but to keep ears from the outside world in the dark.

wild plank
#

Oh, that too?

subtle verge
#

Well, when they were alive*

wild plank
#

Yeah, I assumed that not much is going on upstairs, given the state of the place.

#

Also, is there anything in the analysis about Flying Polyps?

analog frigate
#

so apparently it is pretty rainy during june through mid october

#

although it's very scattered

subtle verge
#

Given that approximately, by Daraxus' simulation, only 9% of the 9.5b people are still alive? Yeah, not a lot is going on. Lmfao

analog frigate
#

not 9%

analog frigate
#

how

subtle verge
#

Another question more related to physics:

analog frigate
#

go ahead

subtle verge
#

With how deep Garganta is... would the heat and pressure of the depth we go affect us?

analog frigate
#

no

#

the heat taking into account where garganta is, is most likely around 40C

wild plank
#

Well, if we were under water it would.

#

Boy howdy would it ever

analog frigate
#

the pressure isn't close to fatal due to there being real world mines that are deeper

subtle verge
#

Geologists theorize for every mile (1609 meters) we descend, the temperature rises about 15f and pressure per square inch increases by 7300 lbs.

#

Gotcha.

analog frigate
#

it is in fact near a tectonic plate border

#

but estimates show that it would range from 30C to 60C

#

but it appears to be on the lower end

subtle verge
#

Gotcha. I wasn't sure how the physics of PSI worked with depth.

#

'Cause I know the average human can sustain like 40psi of pressure if it's sudden, and a gradual increase of about 400psi before the skull caves in.

analog frigate
#

i also don't know how psi works

#

since metric system

subtle verge
#

Uhhh... I'm not sure how to convert that one. I think the metric variant is Pascals?

analog frigate
#

yes

#

more correctly kPa

#

and BAR pressure works as well

subtle verge
#

1psi = 6.8kPa, so...

#

Sudden impact: 275.8 kPa

Gradual increase/sustained: 2757.9 kPa

#

Before our bones get obliterated. πŸ˜„

analog frigate
#

oof

#

2.7mPa

subtle verge
#

OH I SEE HOW THEY DO IT.

analog frigate
subtle verge
#

So mining companies pump cold air in to the mines to regulate temperature and also to reduce the pressure of all of the gasses from things like coal.

analog frigate
#

yes

analog frigate
subtle verge
#

Which, with that current method, makes pressure only twice the amount it is at surface level.

analog frigate
#

here's some sadly non-refereed paper

#

but it gives more realistic numbers for comparision

subtle verge
#

Hmm.. I wonder if I mistook the one that I read as water pressure instead of barometric.

analog frigate
#

possibly

wild plank
#

probly

#

given that pressure increases very quickly the deeper you go in water, and compounds much more as well

#

[is that right?]

analog frigate
#

yes

wild plank

I just realized your pfp looks like teeth and that's scary

I think I know what Schaffer was talking about when he mentioned the fire and the bodies outside. Its probably from that email "Your friends at SMC", from April 20, 2049. Describing the bodies and the fact that Gustavo Peres wants them burned.

analog frigate
#

something could've mutated from that pile and lived

#

explains why it's made from seemingly attached body parts

subtle verge
#

Yep yep, and that goes further in an email I found last night that explains Kovac knew about the 3500 bodies that were burned.

analog frigate
#

oh fuck yeah that's exactly it

those are the bodies peres wanted burned

#

at least a part of them

analog frigate
subtle verge
#

Gustavo was a part of that expedition and Janson Davies wanted him gone because he knew something.

#

So Janson probably made that switch flip to cut the entanglement referenced....

#
and the quantum tether didn't hold as far as I can tell from this end. This means either:
A. we've had a catastrophic system failure on our end, unlikely. Or B. something has happened
at Garganta, which we have no way of knowing. There is a "C" but that would suppose the data
sent back from the Hammerstein Probe was falsified, which... no, I won't believe that."```
leaden dagger
#

ah rght

#

thats the B1 audio right?

subtle verge

BRO LIKE...

#

leaden dagger
#

riiiight

#

damn

subtle verge
#

Before fighting the flying things.

leaden dagger
#

so they abandoned him on Alpha?

subtle verge
#

Here's my theory:

#

Janson wanted Gustavo gone, so knowing that Gustavo was sent for this expedition, fucked with the Hammerstein Probe so that it frazzled out the telemetry to get rid of him

#

But, using the others on the team as like...

#

"Sorry, you gotta' die too."

leaden dagger
#

yeah, damn

subtle verge
#

And boom. It looks like an accident.

solar nova
#

It seems more likely to me that Gustavo is a KSO, not that he's intended to die here.

#

The option C seems more likely to me, based on how the audio log is presented.

subtle verge
#

Right.

#

I mean looking at it as it's written, Janson found his way to rid himself of Gustavo by sacrificing the others to make it look like an accident so that he wouldn't be found out.

solar nova
#

He's a KSO, he can't be found out.

There is also growing concern over the practice of Martial Trafficking, as many of the operatives used by BIOCOM (designated as Kovac Security Operatives) come from unknown origins, have no legal rights or status, and have been trained using methods that break the Zurich Concord of 2042.

icy swift
#

oh

#

nvm

analog frigate
#

ahah

solar nova
#

From US-DOD-RED1.LOG

analog frigate
#

i was correct then

leaden dagger
#

epic

subtle verge
#

Well, here's my thought process/theory:

Gustavo knew a lot about what was going on behind the scenes, and in a fit of paranoia or potentially finding out that maybe Gustavo might have been feeding info to the UN, decided that he was a loose end?

#

And what better way to stop info from being passed on than making an "oopsie" in a manner that didn't make him seem suspicious of foul play?

analog frigate
#

kinda like a schaeffer story

solar nova
#

It just seems very very unlikely that Gustavo would be at Garganta, unless he's a KSO.

#

So, it's more likely to me that these were events prior to the team being sent to Alpha 2.

analog frigate
#

he is a KSO for sure

analog frigate
#

but we still don't have a date for the crystals being found out

subtle verge
#

But if he were a KSO, why would Anders sacrifice one of his own for a client?

#

Unless Anders wanted him gone, too?

analog frigate
#

money and reputation

solar nova
#

I don't think it was intentional that they get stuck there.

analog frigate
#

that client could contribute a lot more than one KSO

subtle verge
#

That is true.

analog frigate
subtle verge
#

And idk, considering what Dr. Durant stated, I'm willing to bet foul play is involved versus miscalculations or faulty equipment.

icy swift
#

i mean if their memories are wipped, then it wont be required to kill him off right

analog frigate
#

memory wiping takes time in an HSU

subtle verge
#

Though, I will absolutely consider faulty equipment.

solar nova
icy swift
#

but yes he did say there could have been foul play

leaden dagger
icy swift
#

but wasnt durant an important researcher?

leaden dagger
#

it was years for bishop wasnt it? before he forgot Davies?

subtle verge
leaden dagger
#

i forget who had the beef

analog frigate

and that's an HSU being used for useless stuff that could've been solved quicker

icy swift

Sup, i don't really crawl around lore but that was interesting KannaWave

leaden dagger
#

you def should

#

shit gets intense in here

analog frigate
#

the only chat i'm active in is this one

leaden dagger
#

same here

analog frigate
#

or technical support

leaden dagger
#

sometimes i help out in tech support

#

yuh

gaunt marsh
#

I'm crawling around for when people ask about "is this good/bad", as you 2 know by now

#

Damn numbers

leaden dagger
#

lmao

#

yep

analog frigate
#

heh

leaden dagger
#

spread some pro-pistol propaganda for us eh?

#

anti-sawed off and anti-carbine

analog frigate
#

sawed off is good though

leaden dagger
#

🀨

gaunt marsh
#

Won't go into it as lore chat but
Sawed good
Carbine trow it inti the garbage

analog frigate
#

carbine good if you can land the full burst

#

so for me good

gaunt marsh
#

Anything you have fun with is good in my book KannaWave

analog frigate
#

true

frank canyon
#

Did you have the NAM-V idea before Corona? Or did you expend after the outbreak

analog frigate
#

before

#

if i remember nam-v was mentioned before covid

frank canyon
#

because i found nothing in the logs dated before 2020

subtle verge
analog frigate
#

yeah

subtle verge
#

But the idea is still there.

analog frigate
#

but making it does

#

and all the materials do

#

and they probably make it in garganta to keep company secrets

west yew
#

Idk to me it seems more like theories than a solid a foundation however I do think what we do know is fascinating

analog frigate
#

most of it is a solid foundation

#

there are a lot of theories

leaden dagger
#

the fog has been a hot debate for a long time

analog frigate
#

but mostly stuff we have established

analog frigate
leaden dagger
#

yup

analog frigate
#

damn feels weird to think back on the lore chat

#

it's like time periods

leaden dagger
#

πŸ˜‚fr

subtle verge
#

Lmfao we go through eras here.

analog frigate
#

exactly

leaden dagger
#

it's the Era of the enlightenment

analog frigate
#

yeah

leaden dagger
#

if you are new listener, let me say; welcome to the enlightenment

analog frigate
#

before it was the great starvation

leaden dagger
#

let me take a moment here to set things up for you

subtle verge
# gaunt marsh You're telling me the toxic fog isn't toxic fog?

The idea/theory I had is the use of cyanophyta. They produce toxins that are the #1 cause of ALS (think Stephen Hawking's disease) in 3rd World Countries and have the ability to be used as biofuel in the future; since there are a lot of reactors underground, it makes sense not to use nuclear power, but biofuel for safety.

#

They also share the same blue-green hazy color.

leaden dagger
#

^

#

it's the closest absolute theory we have

gaunt marsh
#

oh man i feel dumb as i cannot understand that as much ConfuseCat

leaden dagger
#

otherwise it's narrowing down from 100 different neurotoxins

subtle verge
#

It's algae. πŸ˜„

brave dragon
#

Guys I have a question, and I'm totally unsure of if I am in the right chat

gaunt marsh
#

tbh i would understand that if i put effort, i just tend not to now that i read it more carefully

brave dragon
#

but uhh, me and my friends and we are stuck in the B1 level like straight as*es, do yo have advice for us?

subtle verge
analog frigate
#

but

#

what exactly are you stuck on

leaden dagger
subtle verge
#

CONFIRMED TODAY?

analog frigate
#

yes

subtle verge
brave dragon
#

on the zone right after zone 35, one of us idiots keep getting touched by the tentacules of the monster

#

and we all genuinely die out of lack of ammo and health

gaunt marsh
analog frigate
#

the scout is like that

brave dragon
#

We read that if you kill it in less than 2 seconds, it won't do anything

gaunt marsh
#

1.5 roughly

subtle verge
analog frigate
#

tip is to start charging a hammer or spear (bat maybe) and go in while it's retracting its tentacles

gaunt marsh
#

if you want an easy solution, sniper

brave dragon
#

Ohh ok, and what about ammo issues?

#

All the time we lack painfully of ressources

analog frigate
#

ammo should be fine if you don't alert anything

gaunt marsh
#

probably means you are not stealthing enough

analog frigate
#

yeah

subtle verge
#

Yep, stealth is key in this game. Ammo should be a last-use resort or for sticky situations.

analog frigate
#

try going as slowly and carefully as possible

brave dragon
#

Mhm, we call ourselves trains cuz we go too fast in clearing rooms, that might be why

gaunt marsh
#

oh ye

#

that IS why

subtle verge
#

^^^^

gaunt marsh
#

and it gets worse and worse

leaden dagger
#

that is why

gaunt marsh
#

and ammo is even too much in this rundown

#

so don't get used to it too much peek

brave dragon
#

Lol

analog frigate
#

shooting is fine if you are good, memeing and doing something not too difficult

brave dragon
#

Is it possible when ur 2 in the squad?

gaunt marsh
#

even as solo

#

so ye

subtle verge
#

Yep; this game punishes bad aim and mag-dumping pretty hard.

brave dragon
#

Because they don't change the difficulty proportionally to the number of players

#

lmaoo

subtle verge
#

Correct, it's always 4-player difficulty. πŸ˜„

analog frigate
#

that doesn't stop anyone though

gaunt marsh
brave dragon
#

But the game is genuinely beautiful though

analog frigate
brave dragon
#

It's hard but I love it

analog frigate
#

yeah

#

gtfo is a game where you can have fun no matter what

#

no idea why but it's like that

brave dragon
#

Like I can't really rage because we all die like idiots lmaoo

analog frigate
#

yeah
