why do an alternate timeline if the ending will always be the same (schaeffer having control over the warden)? Why have r7 have any warden objectives at all if it literally leads to nothing? Why push so hard for chad theory just to reveal in the final few hours "oh yeah they're all clones"?

These are pretty heavy spoilers that I caught from a livestream but in r8d2 you end up ||hearing alt and og schaeffer bickering, then og schaeffer kills alt schaeffer, and you kill og schaeffer by dumping a reservoir of water on top of his head||
||you then send a message "as schaeffer" telling the other team to bring the datacubes to kds deep and fuck off with the MWP, or something, I wasn't really paying attention at that part||

3. r8a2 jumps back to OG worldline playing as OG squad. We are the perfect squad, and manage to survive.
