Alpha six in r7c2 as well
you can see the same mountains in the distance of both B1's alpha two and BX/DX' alpha three
I never saw one that close
i ran c1 a LOT
That's wild if I missed it
its one in different dimensions in my opinion
this was from a datacube
the same datacube
like
not even different runs
it was ss taken within seconds of eachother
we got the data cube to go to that outpost
that got destroyed by sand storm a powerful one
its not acc suprising
out of a group who ran 3 times in a row on release
Yeah we only know the name, not the location relative to anything else
oh wait i just looked
sandstorms taller than mountains
HOLD'UP THERE WAS A CLOSER ONE?!?!?
YES
TF
THERES MULTIPLE
YOOOOOOOOO
I just noticed HAHAHAH
I NEED A VIDJA
where i told ppl chargers and hybrids have eyes
I ain't staring at a charger that long
u dont need to
best pics of squidward. mine are on the wiki
steam trading cards ;)
i also did super in depth analyzation of every enemy up to r4
so
might just be a me thing
why... why does it look like its a warm
worm*
wait hold'up is it a worm?!?!
idk
It's just got a very long face
a sea urchin
i talked to bio-experts on the topic
or a sea slug
i mean we have to remember this shit doesn't always happen
yummy loooking
just one really fucked up fish
its a cuttlefish
oh
sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo what im hearing at R8 we are going to fucking fight a giant ass squid looking mf
thats why
(the pic)
its cute
Cuttlefish are awesome
not squidward
well, yes and no
possibility
its literally titled "SQUIDWARD" in the game files
multiple at the same time
so thats why people say that
^ yeah lol
but biologically speaking its closest known species is the cuttlefish
do u still want ur vid
I love the dev names sometimes lol
im gonna have to dig through yt
ye
ok one sec
would love to see them
cause as i looked at it it just hit me
no clue where r6a1 is
like Wait a second that one looks a bit too close
Definitely don't consider dev names canon unless they're in logs or something else tho, they just put whatever works in the files
none of the mountains there line up either
they aren't cannon. chargers in files are called bullrush
(in relation to everything else)
r6a1 probably just dropped us somewhere random since we had no nav data
we have no nav data anywhere on destination
all maps go dark.
it could be the original Artifact cords
2 ppl dead
and when you pick it up it sends you there
perhaps the original cords for it
Bro r6c1 is us getting the nav data for d1 what
^^
https://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/imagegallery/image_feature_2526.html
destination is in the dead center of this
The bright clusters and nebulae of planet Earth's night sky are often named for flowers or insects. Though its wingspan covers over 3 light-years, NGC 6302 is no exception. With an estimated surface temperature of about 250,000 degrees C, the dying central star of this particular planetary nebula has become exceptionally hot.
according to exact coordinates
many many many light years away
though the version we visit isnt in our own universe
there IS a destination in ours though
and its possible we could go there from destination
earth -> destination alt -> destination
and same for earth
earth - > earth alt
the MWP transports us to a location AND a different worldline
Why don't we just blow it up to make room for an interspace bypass
some are canon
others are just funny wacky names
yea
Bless Pablo and chicken
i wonder if the r4b1 morse code will remain the same
I can't wait to see
They said r1 alt would release in two weeks and dropped it 6 days later so who knows what the release timeline is going to look like lmao
if i had to guess, r2 probably drops late january
not sure if i can get a video because ppl go into datacube w the expectation theres a fight
so ppl r not looking
at the thing
what are you trying to get a video of
i think i have it somewhere
Yeah and I only looked at the distant one on subsequent runs, never saw anything else
but i had a run where 2 were there
theres multiple spawn points but these were taken within seconds
a run. so how do you know it wasn't a bug?
i remember being able to see several but uh r6 was like months ago
yeah
i mean
i can ask a dev
doubt theyd say much
but theres no patch notes "patching multiple kraken spawn"
so doubt it
and im not the only one who noticed because i told ppl who also then saw it
i'll have you know there are still bugs in the game from r1 to this very day.
and quite a few of them
yeah there's even some bugs from r6 as well like stamina
so could def be intentional
so true
when r they removing that bug
also sidenote this is the reason why schaeffer will never make an in-game appearance
humans look ugly as shit in gtfo
baby
who also probs look like schaeffer
@shut mountain
also love the fact clone theory actually ended up being real
We're greased tf up
cried bt that
chimp theory
worst day ever
when will they confirm it
so true
i remember when chad theory was coined
chad theory
anyways u gotta believe me on the krakens
if multiple pmoms exist
so do krakens
mmmmhhmmm
pmoms are not really that special
yes they are...
just genetic testing on sleepers
dont diss pmom
smc made them
remember when they teased that birthers had a connection to neonates and then just didnt do anything whatsoever about it
or kovac, or whoever
thats like my point
kraken is man made
like
no way
who made more what
and i seen it with my own eyes
krakens are an infected variant
the chimps made more squidwards
native life to destination
yep
does that not make it even more obvious theres multiple anyways
NO ANIMAL LOOKS LIKE THAT
LMAO
^
desert squid
invasive species
Could've been an ocean previously
aliens
destination is 85x faster than our own world line
they rnt aliens theyre cuties
isnt the butterfly nebula supposed to be really fucking hot
extremely
and they are in the dead center
We're time traveling and dimension skipping, an ocean drying up wouldn't be the weirdest thing to happen
i suppose
would u like to tell me
how the evolutionary process of a cuttle fish to that
would happen
I'm barely following the conversation now lol nah
nam-v
no way
thats your evoloutionary proccess
the virus???!?!?!
also, it wouldn't be literally from a cuttlefish
my sarcasm isnt exactly coming through is it
look what it does to humans
?????
we dont know
or a few
if i had to guess it could have been a flying scuttlefish

this is why i dont come here anymore ITS TINY
LLOIDHPAWIODAWD
this is funny
this chat hurts my brain too much
anyways
lets just
move on
theres more than one point blank period

i got photo evidence, biological evidence, logical evidence, homie evidence
bishop was on destination for two years
but he was only gone in earth time for about a week and a half
in e1, we don't see the pablo when we teleport back because it fucked off months ago
multiple pablo theory is bad no cap
wonder how he was made
one immortal is better
hes cute tho
not funnier sadder
tonk
Pablo is the worst best friend I ever had
hes a good listener
the same people who push the "several pablo" narrative are the same people who are saying that sleepers are actually cuttlefish
looks like that dude in half-life alyx
^ this is true
but also
not me
i think the destination squidward is a giant tarantula
it is certainly flying
read the "for dummies" doc in the pins
it explains most.
or read "summary of gtfo lore expeditions"
or both
the thing that goes super in depth into every gtfo lore expedition except r7 (which im working on)
once i have more info i can make more outrageous claims
his is post-apocalypse, mine is pre-
it would be funny
we should have gotten more lore on this
.
fuck that, what about HSU_666?
its an image.
its spiderman
do something thatll help me process what that is
thats the image
ENHANCE
he got sticky feet cuz he drank gatorade
i could have sworn i showed you this when we were e1ing awhile ago
we dont know
honestly it shouldn't do anything at all
neither should the disinfection station
i mean you dont have to imagine it
hand sanitizer exists
cold shower
u guys try it too
suffer well.
yes
cold shower in 50 degree weather ew
frostty what are your thoughts on why we go back to rundown 1-6
i'm completely clueless.
just "allens" or something
i dunno
its bizarre
we have an idea of what happened because of r3c1
arbitrary plot device allens go!
We're not even necessarily "going back", we might just be catching up on what's already technically happened in that alt timeline, and it'll somehow become relevant at the end
Too many questions, too few answers
5 alts left to go
flyers
you'd think something as big as them to the lore we'd see more of in-game than a fucking boulder.
not allens. edgar/teal log describes something completely different
also hammerstein logs rule that out now. different species and what not from multiple universes. it can't be just flyers.
also the autopsy would have rung more alarm bells if it was a giant meatball and not something humanoid.
fuck, smc kept digging up until the very end of the timeline
for some reason
$$$$$$
not even that much money
what they thought was iridium was almost entirely cretasium-77a
If the boss wants it the boss gets it, whether he's right or not
It's basically just a corporate version of dwarves anyway
to be fair alien artifacts would go from black market much better than iridium
For sure
Not to mention the possibilities
Militaries would pay out the ear for RISE stuff too
LIke if this was as big as they assumed it was - this is a rare case of corporate playing a truly long game
kovac was actually under international scrutiny for a lot of the stuff they were up to.
Sure, Gargantha probably was worth billions to upkeep.
In return they would have a monopoly on alien artifacts, related research and much more.
which i guess.. good for the UN.
It would pay off amazingly in the long run
Not that the UN has much actual power
if it didn't end the world
but even by that point everything was pretty thoroughly fucked
Very difficult for any permanent security council seat to be held accountable for anything even in the best of times
i mean, even after NATO disbanded, SMC was still a' digging.
Grind never quits
you'd think it'd be more of a problem with the people they are selling to dropping like flies.
Line go up
Until it doesn't
Honestly has vibes of early nuclear research where they just shipped radioactives in regular crates
Demon core, anyone?
But in gtfo it's not radioactive, instead it's contagious
Which is way worse
it got out into the atlantic and from there went global
I mean... At that point why stop
Might as well hope to find a cure in there of some kind
Not like you got anything better to do
Do i be dying or do i by digging while dying and praying to find something new down there
Might as well take the hard path
guys
ambience noises in c2 also
lab noises
they sound slightly off to lab noises but its not regular refinery ambience
so weird
yeah im listening over the regular ambience thats so odd
its a down pitched pipe noise
soooo
probs schaeffer
anyone noticed them in other levels?
the noises are really distant in c2 but very noticeable in d1
im sure its like a heads up abt schaeffer being here
So how tf did people get down Gargantha? Like I get we have the HSU drop thing but how did it work when functional
normal stairs and elevators.
Thatโs what I though. Yikes.
As someone who has pretty high stamina and does cardio every day, that sounds like a damn nightmare
well they def had high tech transportation
the hsu elevator for instance
like not the warden one
r7a1
they may have had some kind of โsubwayโ
best way i can describe it is the shit the elves use in the polar express
doubt that they would have stairs that descend over 1000m
no oneโs walking miles up a staircase everyday
lmao
and wouldnโt doubt they all lived down there anyways
so short travels
all i know is they def all got payed a fuck ton
i would work there
what are human rights violations in the face of a fat paycheck?

eyie lads What does CLCTR MULTITHREAD PROCESSOR ACTIVATED mean?
doesnt that show up in the rundown screen?
yeah?, but i dont know what it means i was hoping someone would clarify
yeah, chances are we missed something during the rundown, possibly.
Its clearly somehow relevant to the fact that we "gained access" to older rundown
yeah but its not open even though we beat the R1 in about just an hour ago.
Possibility: Warden gained access to other dimensions and is now performing expedition cross-universally
Hence why he needed this multithread processor
But its too shallow of an explanation
well that sentence can be a fcking movie hahah, but i get your point
welp time well tell at least. ill be back if theres more information about the CLCTR
CLCTR, or multithread processing?
The โinjectionโ scream also changed.
It's just how we get to previous rundown areas probably
CLCTR , collector? Collector multithread processor activated
yeah, my first guess was collector too, don't know what else it could be
if you read the first C phonetically it could be a funny way of writing "selector" but really "collector" is almost definitely correct
The allens were collectors of species from different worlds... Hammerstein describes finding tons of unique specimens...
i'm pretty sure the way we drop in was installed after the huge explosion-thing described in some logs(so after normal operation ceased and most people died). We do seem to drop into the molten chutes created by the explosion.
Apparently yellow glowsticks are Alt-specific, which might imply it's part of the weird Mandela-esque multiverse stuff.
is this mean we might have something weird happen in Alt rundown then
like hybrid in Alt: R1C1
Definitely seems like the case. Probably why they're called "Glowsticks" and not "Yellow Glowsticks," because the universe ALT://R1 takes place in always had them as yellow instead of green.
Maybe we'll get blue-colored glowsticks for R2 or something.
Plz ๐
It would be so cool!
also add secondaries and overloads for "funsies," too.
Different universe, so those prisoners totally just so happened to suffer more than past R2 us
Yeah, that seems right.
is this mean we'll get somebody else instead of schaeffer?
Guys, what if Andrew is alive?
I have no idea what they'd do with that twist narratively, but you never know.
pleaseโฆ
Andrew who?
Clinton
Guess I forgor who he is
Hi. Is there a way how to play though a story of the game and experience the lore or is it forever closed just because new rundown opened.
They are releasing all the previous rundowns complete with new lore. So now is the best time!
Uh, question needs better wording.
The story and lore are experienced exclusively through terminal logs and Schaeffer's audio messages.
From rundown 1 to rundown 5 there was very little story and mostly just lore.
Rundown 6 was when story kicked in and Schaeffer became more pro-active and Rundown 7 continues his shenanigans.
You currently cannot experience R6 story until it is re-released.
i was reading the updates, lore docs, and saw the trailer that previous rundowns are closed forever, but sometimes they open one with alternate story that adds to previous
they used to remove content with every new content drop.
they are no longer doing that and just started releasing alt-versions of old rundowns.
What are terminal logs? Are they something you need to read from the terminals themselves, though a command or something, or are they a different mechanic?
Also in R1A1 we're getting the DNA of an administrator but his HSU says the subject age is 15 years, is there a reason a 15 year old is an admin in an unethical science facility or is the warden just lying?
hmmm idk about the age part, but logs are text and/or audio files on specific terminals. for text ones you need to get to the right terminal, find the full log file name and use the command "read [filename]" to access it
Where do I look for the log file name?
~~hmmm there is a command for it, i can't remember the command off the top of my head, but ~~
the "Commands" command will show you every command for that terminal
you will have to check every terminal with the "Logs" command.
HSU statuses, as far as I'm aware, are non-cannon. They are randomized per-run
Find terminal
LOGS
There is always 1 "autogen" log - nothing important.
Get excited if it says there are 2 or more logs.
Find the one that isn't autogen
READ LOGNAME
thanks!
In pinned, there's something called like "summary of gtfo expeditions" me and this other guy wrote
It basically says what we did from r1-r6 in terms of gameplay lore
and the "for dummies" lore for stuff that happens before the game starts.
Oh thank you. I was reading a lot but skipped that pin ๐
DId the time of the R1 Alt after the R7 or b4 it ?
not entirely clear yet i think
r5 is when the story kicked off
any scp enjoyers? maybe itโs a shared universe and the playable characters are just some d-class
maybe the game takes place in a scp-7004 or 6217 canon
idk just a connection i made since theyโre death row inmates(i think) and so are d-class
Woods shot up a military base. Almost certainly an inmate.
Bishop got blackmail on his boss and was wiped from nearly all records of even existing. Probably not an inmate.
Hackett volunteered, so not.
Dauda wasn't a kso at all.
So really only woods would qualify
hmm
If you are interested in the lore I highly recommend reading the "for dummies" document in this pins of this channel.
not too invested in this game(yet) but i still think the shady vibe of the characters superiors would pass for the scp foundation
thanks, iโll check it out!
Anyone remembers the guy Schaffer was talking to in DX?
He disappeared in R7. I wonder where he went
The guy? you mean the creature? he killed it
What was that? Sounds like a intelligent striker
It was a specimen, you find it's dead body in another mission, forgot which one
I think it was created by the warden, as a part of these missions we're being sent on, collecting neonates and samples
I'm pretty sure I read that around here somewhere, but I could be wrong
Should be R6DX
But why is the warden making these things?
the specimen can walk among sleeper without getting attack
it even trigger scout and didn't die
so if you can make another specimen that can carry stuff around without getting killed
But why would he set it loose?
He killed it in R6DX and it's corps could be found in R6DX as well at the end
Well he would have new slaves that can Freely walk around without getting attacked. Altho until now every specimen was a failure
we just finished another specimen in this rundown
Meaby the one from R7 will be the finished good specimen finally as we have been using the new GLP-2 instead of GLP
Yes but unknown for now if it's a succesfull one
Meaby, who knows
remind me again
They obviously are planning something with it
is the sleeper the remaining that died from the virus?
The whole game has actually revolved around the specimens. So they are quite integral to the plot
No clue about that you'd have to ask someone else ๐
i could just read pin comment
you could
There's room for a very dark ending where we complete the speciman and after it proves successful off screen we get sent on a suicide mission and survive unexpectedly but just dont get picked up by the elevator
Wasnโt the whole idea behind creating a specimen that it would enable the warden to grow operatives faster?
It was to allow the warden to have an easier time collecting shit
Before the collapse there was a project(named "Rise" i think) for growing KSOs(essentially security guard at the time) super fast. Warden is using part of that tech to grow the specimen fast.
Rise had an issue where the brains would lack behind the body growth, creating man sized toddlers.
I'm still a little sad that my dumb theory as to how we were gonna grow the specimen fast ended up wrong
I expected to leave it on red alpha
Ah yes, the ultimate time chamber... Arizona
In what log can I find out more about this. Point me into the direction?
iirc logs from r6c2, r6cX, and r6dX had most of the info about those particular experiments
Thank you, Iโll read up on those
I'm sure someone else will tell me I missed some later but those should be a start
It's in the audio that played in r6 and also the listed logs
Also worth noting that we used a neonate in r3 to access more areas of the complex
Yeah we plugged it in like a little flesh CPU right?
That thing people normally do with babies
is there not a log somewhere where it tells us that the R3 specimen died ?
we have know idea what happened to the r3 unit.
thank you boss
If Henriksson is anything to go by, that doesn't actually sound like a problem
Plus there's an audiolog from the trapped dimension-hopper team that basically gives the impression the KSO's are effectively 'Dumb robots'
Wonder what those powered skeletons actually are.
Kovac HAD to have some automated defenses, right? And surely Santonian Mining had to maybe have some areas that would warrent some extra assurance. How come we never see the Warden make use of anything automated to help us out?
I wouldn't really say it's a requirement... Machines are their own sort of unreliable after all
I'd definitely be interested in seeing any if they did, though
I always thougth that the guy we found in R6DX is the same we left in Rundown 3.
and bcuz Schaeffer finished him off , we were tasked in Rundown 7 to build a new one
An idea 10cc had a few years back was, iirc, turrets that would shoot at you
They've said that they don't have plans for new environmental hazards for r8 but I wouldn't be surprised if they add the idea back and make it where the warden is trying to gain back control
Maybe if we go deep into KDS areas again
What I really wanna know is...
...Why is it always raining when its time to wake-up and do a mission? Super dreary and depressing night-time, every time. Why not a beautiful sunny day to really rub in just how close you are to the surface, before you're plunged right into the monstrous abyss?
because its all a simulation
That'd be interesting.
alpha to r6 ALT are all just the Warden testing us to see if we would ever stray away from it; there's thousands of other simulations as well, looking for the perfect prisoners
its night and raining because that's the default. The simulation needs time to start up and not everything has been loaded in yet
The Warden is dumb for trying to simulate the perfect prisoners instead of just making droids to clean up Garganta.
The real explanation is probably just "it's cooler", but I do hope they give us some bs explanation at some point for it because it would be funny
Like the simulation, or just "sleepers are less active during rain"
That's technically what I was getting at with the Automated defenses thing. Why doesn't the Warden (which is totally not an Immoral AI) Just order the prisoners to fetch it some equipment/materials, get some KSO (Like Henriksson or that other guy who's now dead) to build a blueprint for connectable, disposable flamethrower turrets-on-wheels, then get a prisoner or two for doors that require human intervention and just go burninating Garganta until everything fleshy is dead?
Because it doesn't want everything dead. In fact unless I've missed something, does the warden even order you to ever kill anything? As far as I'm aware it's always data retrieval or something like that
Survival and path clearing are the closest we get to "kill this," and we're mostly just exploring, prepping maintenance, or diverting the swarm's attention.
Yes, Warden doesn't care for killing anything. Sleepers technically do not interfere with his job in any way - they don't break or touch anything. All they do is slow down our simple "go here and acquire this thingy" mission to a grinding halt, where it takes an hour to do an expedition just to find some goddamn jar of DNA-rich piss.
Hence why he's trying so hard to create one of those artifical Neonate Units and make it so that sleepers ignore their existence.
Ability to traverse complex without having to stealth, fight during security scans or searching for loot will speed up objective acquisition by a major margin. Probably good 200-300% faster.
Ironically a good half of our objectives ends up being commited to that exact project.
It's like Warden's top priority.
Either:
A) He's aware that our time is short and eventually we will succumb to NAM-V and trying to create a reliable, replacable army that he can use for his goals
B) He wants to send that unit deeper than we ever went, where he thinks our chances to survive are basically 0, so he'd rather waste his time on creating a perfect infiltration unit than declare war on lower levels and have us grind through armies of sleepers just to explore whatever is down there.
Regarding your second point, imagine if the ANUs are a complete failure? Like, they release R8 and we see an F tier objective. Imagine that
this is a cool point. the thing is though, I want the story to take us down to the inner and the egg, because I want some interesting content lmao
So wait, I thought the ALT Series was gonna be us returning to the old rundowns with Schaefer behind the wheel and giving us feedback. Rundown 7 was when he killed the Neonate, correct?
r6 extended.
and it wasn't a neonate, it was fully grown. a unit
Not the one we handle?
sad ๐ฆ So it's not a 'punishment re-run', and it's not 'Schafer behind the wheel'
it's either "schaeffer behind the wheel" or "schaeffer lost the wheel oh god oh f-"
"for dummies" in the pins
either download it or click "view whole file"
that is for pre-apocalypse lore.
read the "summary of expeditions" for post-apocalypse
Extremely morally questionable corporations dabble with magic space rocks from the [Meteor that killed the dinosaurs] crater. Discover alternative dimensions/Galaxy teleportation, time distortion, and a death disease that breaks your bones and cracks your head in half. On the plus side, you get a nice new set of teeth to go into that new cavity! Also, everyone is dead from said disease, and your only hope is a cryosleep pod that makes you forget everything. Morally dubious AI is making you do things.
Not really TLDR but I tried
you want gigachad?
here ya go
AAA game "lore"
i cant believe they revived task force 141 just to milk them from dummies
i've put way too much effort into some of my memes
this is
"if we every get to see what ancient destination looked like before the allens went extinct"
I think it would have made the most sense if it was
hopefully we get lore reasoning on why we go back
Everything point to the fact that we didn't go back, its just alt dimension variants of us doing the same objective.
The log with mysterious Bishop's Mask spare that shouldn't exist pretty much confirms it.
The real question is... Why is this something that we, the players, have to experience? What's doing on here?
Did warden unlocked encoded reports of missions from another dimensions and we are just watching the playback?
Surely if he was ACTUALLY sending us back - the prisoners would have something to say about that, like "huh, i swear i've seen this one"
It being alt dimensions of us is just so boring of an explanation
I refuse to believe
Alt dimensions in the story would be super interesting, something like r6d4
Sure is, but anything else just introduces more opportunities for writers to write up some big nonsense
But "the prisoners somehow get sent to another alternate dimension to view previous rundowns!!" is so cringe
I can't make it make sense at the moment, and that's not a good sign
It's probably true tbh
The "its just a log describing the events from another variant" solution is simple and doesn't do as much long term damage
The main point is to just give us back old content to play
Frankly they didn't had to explain it at all
Just suck it up and go "yeah, we're bringing old shit back with a facelift, sorry for that whole content removal thing"
And yet they went an extra mile to be like "a-ha, see? it's not just your old content, its different and there's lore behind it too!"
...sounds kinda cringe i word it like that, but i still can appreciate the effort.
(but fucking with multiverse was still a big mistake, do you want to be Dr Strange 2 of gaming?)
Explain GTFO lore but as if youโre explaining it to a child
you know the story about monster under the bed?
ye, you're now under the bed with the monster
@real pewter that is perfect
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... there were these creatures called the allens
Its not neccesarilly the case that the prisoners would recognize the previous rundowns since the pods causes memory loss
The allens encountered or made the mostly deadly virus the galaxy had ever seen
This virus killed most of them, and the survivors fled to earth across time and space
company goes to do wacky things and finds secret alien virus that is evil and the world ends
However, the virus came with them
Eventually, the ship the allens came to earth with gets discovered by santonian mining company
And the virus gets out
And all of human civilization is destroyed
The end.
Most likely it was a virus that they were immune to and when they came they brought it. Kinda like when Europe met the natives
They weren't immune. 1) we meet no living allens
-
they crashed into the Yucatan, they didn't land.
-
their place of origin before earth, destination, is barren of most life
If you'd like a summary of the lore that is more in-depth, you can read the "for dummies" document in the pins
Well since Iโm new Iโll guess we got a lot possibles.
But if they crashed into the planet it most likely was a miss jump or fleeing
Well they were fleeing. From destination. Their entire civilization got wiped out
Even Hammerstein finds corpses down in the inner
Then it was a mistake they brought it
And countless specimens and species from different planets and possibly universes
Yes
But you say there is different species, that means that ship was a ship fleeing from a galactic centre or colony planet that houses species from many planets which is even worse meaning this virus is a galactic reset virus if itโs that far out
Possibly. We know very little.
Destination is in an entirely different plain of existence aswell
The allens were so advanced they could travel between world-lines (basically universes/timelines)
The MWP we use to go to destination in game is their tech
That makes it even worse, if the virus was from one universe or it has been clinging to this space ship spreading which makes it even more scary
That project insight has repurposed to launch expeditions there
Oh dear that could be so much worse
From the r7e1 log, it would seem that it might possibly be an allen-made bioweapon that got out of control
And not be natural
Well if itโs a bio weapon that means the virus could never truly be the same since it will evolve on its own
And if we go to different universes it will most likely be different
It can spread through almost any vector, is 100% lethal, is hyper-infectious, and has no cure. Once you have it, you will have it forever and will be dead within 5 weeks.
You can slow it but you can never halt it or reverse it
Once you get it you are fucked.
Hmm, makes you wonder if theirs species that are immune to it
If there is, we haven't heard of it.
Well it doesnโt infect machines so a machine race lol
Doesnโt it state somewhere that an HSU kills the virus but you can get reinfected once you leave the HSU or is that just the parasite?
So what is it that happened to Mr State Of Truth in his last log? NAM-V doesn't really explain his sudden bout of dreams and mixed up timelines.
it's a teaser for ALT R1
But does it show that maybe the alternate universe peeking that people like the Warden and Garganta before everything went cuckoo was doing is having its effect on things? People?
it also means that, all the universe is merging
I just had an awful thought
What if GTFO actually means GTFO from this universe? The Warden is trying to complete the dimension hopper research so it sends us to an earth where the NAM-V virus never existed?
Guys, i worked on it for a while and i would like to share it here with you, a file with all Logs and Audio files containing Lore about GTFO, all lined up systematically in order to make life easier while searching for informations, i hope it will help you and also i hope you will find everything you need in there, i will keep updating it as soon as there will be new content avaible online, enjoy
i suggest to open it with Wordpad

Hey, nerds. Is there anything in the lore about the virus affecting animals?
Didn't it change humans though?
Only in the Complex
Mutants are a team work by both the virus and the parasite (especially the latter)
Namv escaped in its 100% lethal glory, but parasite got quarantined in the complex.
So mutants are exclusive to garganta. Everyone outside just die.
Alright, so the parasite just never got interested in animals.
No it simply didn't got the chance to interact with them.
There are no animals in the complex.
No insects? No bats? No rats?
Kovac managed to stop the parasite from escaping, but there's Jack shit they could do against namv.
Safe to say bats and rats are out of the question. They digged a giant hole in the ocean.
Insects though...
We do have Spitters. We have no idea where they come from.
I mean, rats could have been brought in for experiments.
Maybe. No info on that and we haven't seen one, so...
iirc in the labs there's growths that seem like its able to do shit to plants
so i wouldnt doubt if it can do things to animals
Rundown 8 on entirely Gardens tiles but the trees are now an environmental hazard
You get near them, they snatch you
Dead space comes to mind
dead space is a good game but i lost interest in 3. the whole alien thing wasn't needed and ruined the core story. even the developers commented that they felt the alien thing was unnecessary.
frankly i liked how GTFO was before the whole weird alien thing. i'd rather see more creature mutations in the lower levels
if real new creatures like the snatcher then yes. if hjust variants like shadows then nah
there is some but dunno where and what it was
We got a couple of new logs hinting at some multi dimensional bullshit.
One of researchers found Bishop's mask stuck under the teleportation device.
Even though bishop already returned... With his own mask.
He brought the issue to superiros: hey did you gave him any other masks? Does he like makes them on his own? Anything? The superiors just gave him the confused looks.
So he brought the issue to Dr Stokes, put the mask into the artifact vault and left it at that for Ms Stokes to figure out.
There is also a log of some unknown individual escaping the complex and kovac sending everyone after him.
...
Wait...
Holy shit. Could it be the other Bishop?!
spectrogram of the B2 signal log. Seems like there's something but I can't get anything out of this. Any ideas?
Maybe counting the positions of the lines on the grid?
How about time travel? What if a bishop from the future went back to that point in time and lost his mask?
The horizontal lines do appear to be perfectly spaced between each other
No coincidence there
There's definitely something here. They've done a spectrogram before, so I'd assume it's not out of question.
They have?
Remember R5A2, the corrupted logs amongst the normal ones? Someone stitched em together and put em into a spectrogram. I'll find the vid
This ^
Quick thought on the teleporting, it could be having an effect on everything, both the Levels (Hence ALT being slightly different layouts as different universe or something) and people, even though they didnt teleport themselves, it's created a distortion between all the things, so State of Truth Man thought the meridia earthquake was a month earlier, because it was a month earlier in a different universe?
and Schaffer questioning if he has said things before
this also ties in with the 2 versions of EF-01, lore to explain each run, everyone is playing in their own universe, where slightly different things happened
and in Rundown 2, didnt the community as a whole have to finish a certain map a certain amount of times?
oh muh god, the lore!
I'm gonna go get some red wool
yes
I managed to get quite a bit of lore on one log
original and outlined;
Noticed what appeared to be patterns throughout the image. Weird pillars that repeat across the image. Some almost appear to be cables and plugs?
the middle ones look like a hydraulic press to me
To me they just lowkey look like the flood ways columns in certain tiles
Show it to the French, maybe they'll figure it out
We sure this isn't Morse or something?
Like, I feel like the pillars aren't shapes themselves, but some kind of height indicator.
Which would explain the horizontal lines.
I'm also starting to feel like the writing team has officially decided the last few messages were baby easy.
Can you take a screen of different areas of the spectrogram heavily zoomed in?
I'm wondering if there's some heavy granularity we're missing.
What are we collecting core samples for exactly
Like what do they do and who needs them?
DNA core samples are for security access.
The security system checks for your DNA, you present the sample or some kind of fabrication of the sample.
So weโre collecting dna samples for someone to pass security checkpoints?
It makes no sense that weโre collecting them for ourselves because we always launch from the corporate machine thing and return to it
It also doesnโt seem to make much sense that simply picking up the sample causes an endless horde to spawn
At least not from a lore perspective
We literally do a bioscan every other door.
And yeah, if we tamper w/ DNA used for security clearance that'd probably set something off.
Not exactly sure how to do so, beyond just zooming in on the original output image. Is there a specific software that'd be best for it?
Thought you might be able to do it in the software that gave you it. What's the resolution of it?
The first was 1280 x 720, the second two (edited and non edited) were 1800 x 280
I used basic web software for it, I'm not too familiar with spectrogram stuff, just the basics.
I'm using actual software now, and I have a few variations of the image now. Sending soon
bottom part of 1 looks like dots, morse code maybe? I aint too familiar with morse
What ddoes it mean?
put it thru some actual software, did my best to make the background different from the lines
I'm not experienced with this. The software I used was sonic visualizer. I have no idea what setup would even be right, there's so many options.
still looks like a city to me
either we're reading too deep into this or we're looking at it from the wrong angle
for all we know its just a spooky sound
perhaps the fact that there was an unauthorised transmission in the first place is the real lore
The audio appearing that way, from my understanding, is fairly unnatural.
Like, you'd have to go out of your way to make it look like that, as opposed to being the actual sound.
If I'm understanding it, anyway.
can someone do some analysis on simple ambiense noises? i dont know if those creepy noises in the background mean anything, particularly when close to danger
The "puffing" sound is weird.
Makes me wonder if that's what we should be trying to interpret.
They don't mean much.
Any idea if there's something to isolate the left/right channels?
mm... i see.
Because there seems to be some weirdnesss to the directional audio.
I'm not sure but I'll try to find out
Isolating it did something. Ill try to get clear images
I'll outline in a sec. I'm not even sure I did the splitting right as I used an online program that split it into 5 separate isolated tracks. But this one had something that looks like a pipe, or a series of connected pipes?
Right in the middle, vertical wise
ignore the white line, something from the program
I think its part of that lil thing ya noticed
The puffs?
i think so
I think it is morse like you said, I don't think were gonna get an actual image out of this
allens?
or has that been disproven by this point
i haven't really been keeping up with the conversation in here for a couple days
The signal from R1B2, when put into a spectrogram, puts out images that seem intentional
I just have n o c l u e what I am looking for
if its morse, looking vertically what if the short lines are . and the longer ones are -
or vice versa
Honestly French discord would probably know what to do, they've cracked quite the few confusing ciphers
Like theres clearly something there, but I have no idea what I'm doing.
solved
Simple question for people who have played this game
Why is everyone looking like that weird magnetic liquid when you put a magnet near them
What I mean is what the hell are they smoking and why do they look like bubbles are growing in their asses
Btw if your wondering why I asked this in here is because I'm guessing it's some virus which has largely connected to the lore
It feels like you are asking about something, but i have no clue what you on about
Sorry
well.
The one thing i can say is
It's prob due to EA
im joking, Nam-v virus caused that shit...
probably
Wot
#gtfo-lore message this is the link to a document in this channel called, lore for dummies. its in the pinned also if you dont trust my link
Frostyy typed it
cuz telling you everything about it would take...
hours
So have fun
Alr thanks
otherwise the site santonianindustries.com is a terminal with all the logs of the game in them
can be used in most browsers
in case of trust issues
Alr so I didn't read all of it but I need you to say if im correct here
A bunch of goofy aliens did some stupid shit and accidentally killed a bunch of dinasours then returned from the ground because they were bored
And did some goofy shit to earth
But a company wanted to profit off of their goofy territory's loot so they sent a bunch of deathrow inmates to go shoot the goofy aliens hiding in their mines
goofy alien virus on asteroid that killed dinos woke up once they foraged it too far yes
at least that was the theory
So wait
made a huge mess
Oh alr
So the miners made a big poopoo and instead of sending military and bunches of spec ops to clean it up they went the cheap route and sent a bunch of lunatics
and it affected the surface too
So the "aliens"
Are a bunch of intelligent bugs
Who take over living things
Then use them as vessels?
Parasite bugs that mutate living things into vessels used to mutate more things and make more parasites all only to eat what? A whole planet/species?
Then die out after?
Because of having no food?
Parasites are dependant on the host, but they have no inners thoughts like population consumption and stuff
If you think about it
they aint evil, they just a predatory race
and since humans are currently on top of the food chain, they are preying on us making them the new top
So they are just really stupid and really aggressive but smart enough to tell their own kind apart from others?
every species is smart enough to tell their kind apart
And this idiot species of bugs accidentally pressed the big red button to go to earth
They slept like babies smoking a joint?
prob reproduced as a cellular being
How high were they to sleep for a couple million years
No
susge
What
viruses have no thoughts
So the bugs just turn vessels brains into mush?
there is not better explanation
Passed from multiple ways
But a couple alien parasites are not sentient and just really stupid aggressive monkeys?
Who sometimes accidentally mutate into bigger better stupid aggressive monkeys?
why monkeys
I mean, they act about the same as ants do, so not that out there.
Oh ok so the miners were mining
And accidentally touched some funny virus
And then everyone got it
And then they went radio silent
I really cant call it funny
and no radio silence since some got out and infected others
I think its in r5 we learn of that
Ok so everyone in there touched the goofy aliens and some crawled out of the hole to touch a couple guys then get shot and quarantined until they decide to send a couple maniacs in to kill their entire species
They locked up the hole until further notice like an amusement park
the warden never used the term kill them
Potato potatoe
so i dont think thats the play
You think they want their mine full of a hyper aggressive alien species that attacks on sight?
And before you say Territorial
You said they crawled out
I feel like the warden is an AI trying to find a cure to save the humans in hydrostasis, but they need samples and ingredients to work
not the aliens
they didnt crawl out
I'm saying the mutated people
some humans infected but still asymptomatic got out
Oh
like covid, you can catch it from people who have no symptoms
So they shut down the hole until they had plans?
P sure everyone's dead.
Yeah
im pretty sure everyone outside of hydrostasis is dead
oh no, we're dead with every extraction i think
They send different people every time?
I dont believe in the chad theory
They just kill em after?
