There a different things you can do..
Try one of theese :
- You have a nvidia card so go in the nvidia settings and go to the 3d settings for the game. Select here that you want to use the GPU
- I had a similar issue back then and I just solved it with DDU (Display Driver Uninstall) it's a free software which allows you to delete everything of a nvidia driver. Then just install the latest version
- check compabtibility -> find the .exe file right click -> properties -> comp -> "Run this program in different .. mode for" choose the latest
- run the .exe file as administrator

just make sure your bios is compatible with zen2 and software wise you'll be using the same thing if its just a drop in upgrade for the chipo

Possibly because it's dealing with large files. Could try setting up a replay buffer with OBS, so it will only record the last (whatever you set it to) 90s or 2 minutes. You hit a hotkey after something noteworthy and it's saved without heavy memory usage.
Million possible reasons for stutters, this is just one alternative method to try, that might be more lightweight.

Well, aside from the GPU being overpriced by some, about 540$ ( Which is better than 800$ at least, you could find one for much cheaper ), it's not actually too bad for about 1500$

There are user friendly versions of Linux out there, don't be closed minded. It's only difficult if things go wrong and you've never fiddled with it before.

the ryzen 3 2300x is a decent cpu, and unless its got a dogshit cooler, the pc is fine aside from the gpu.
the only real issue is if you want to use the pc for high res video editing.
otherwise i would just upgrade the gpu tbh.
realistically, i rarely if ever fill my 16gb of ram unless im doing something silly.
but, the 1050ti is a weak card from an old generation.
the obvious weak point of the build in terms of gaming.
