Personally I hate ports. It sucks up development time in making a square peg fit into a round hole instead of using that time making the game better overall. Case in point, Cyberpunk 2077. So much time was spent porting that to several different platforms instead of squashing bugs and polishing code.

I can shed some light on the shipping damage, if it was loaded on an 18 wheeler truck you load up packages as layered walls. The package was likely a bottom box and the employee used the larger box because its the most stable for the bottom.
The damage likely occured from the retailers distribution center and I wouldn't blame the employee here, they have to work fast to keep up with the flow and we're likely tired.
I'd blame the work environment/culture on this

So it isn't hard hardware issue unless there is some bottlenecking issue. Try using hte CPU culling option in GFTO to see if that helps you any.
If that doesn't help maybe try asking #gtfo-technical-support

It might also be an issue with latency with your lobby when you group up, I've had some games where latency was extreme and I saw all sorts of weird things.

Something that I ran into with performance is the storage that the game is downloaded on. I had the game downloaded to my SSD, it ran smoothly, then switched it to my hard drive, GTFO seems to be very 'real time' with it's loading, see what you have it downloaded on, I would suggest an internal drive, rather than external if you use such.

Current System:
Motherboard: Asrock b450 Steel legend / Upgrading to MSI B550 UNIFY [already purchased]
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 / wanting to Upgrade to Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: Readeon RX580 8GB / Bottleneck / No idea for upgrade
RAM: 2x8GB Ripjaws DDR4-3200MHZ CR16 / another set.
Cooling: Basic Fans / Upgrade to Radiator for CPU [100Euro] around that.
New case for better airflow and cooling, around 200Euro.
Main issue currently is overheating of the GPU.

Finding a case with good airflow is pretty easy, since there's quite a good selection to choose from and some at a very good cheap price

@steep monolith Go for 5600x instead of 3700x with B550. Sacrfice 2 cores and 4 threads but the architecture is worth getting. It slightly does a better job against 3700x as well as PCIE Gen 4 Support and pairs nicely with RTX 3000s
RX 580 is indeed a bottleneck so something that is 3060 or higher would be best
2060 super or higher would be nice but for cost is not worth it
B550 TUF and MSI Unify b550 is good as well
Stock cooler is already fine, but is best to go for something greater than Hyper 212.
If your system is shutting down from the temperature, is possible that a few factors come into play
Case airflow, what heatsink you're using, the thermal compound, the motherboard itself on how much it can handle, etc.

it's normal behavior for games to use as much as they're allowed. If not because of graphics quality it's from high fps.
When limiting how much your GPU works matters, the user has to adjust video settings + a framelimiter accordingly

so i purchased my pc last summer in july .i started to have this problem right away with the motherboard:when I try to start my pc, not always, but almost every time, the motherboard flashes some red lights on the bottom and stays like that. The pc doesn't start(just a black screen) but only the rams turn on their LEDs. Shortly after that, the pc automatically shuts down and restarts.
