Bright Memory was made by a single dev and features RTX and DLSS. So it's not only big AAA titles. But that still doesn't mean games from before will rush to implement. Wouldn't cross out the option at some point, but doubt they have plans for it now.

I've bought a 2080 on release, used RTX once for 20 minutes since just to test it out in BF5 that was it. Most people i know fall into the same category. Nice feature but performance hit is way too high.
Doesn't help that it's mostly just a handful of AAA graphical intense new games that support it - i will always pick higher FPS over some reflections first, am sure most gamers would.

The only dips below 60 are with 20+ NPC's in the city centre or huge base firefights. Otherwise pretty smooth and very pretty

People already have, and it works great through Proton as well via Vulkan. So Linux people can play it too

Course what I mean by that is people are constantly making mods to make it run better, people also discovered that CDPR screwed up with the CPU coding. The game treats AMD CPUs as if they are bulldozer so it doesn't use the logical cores at all

For short: It allows voltage tuning for each core. Small negative offset on all cores basically undervolts entire thing while keeping the benefits from PBO

Seagate is bad with the hard drives for ps4. I got WD Elements and that lasted me like 2 years before becoming faulty

Seagate one actually make inputs repeat 20+ times console freeze, Game crashing, Long load times and basically just made the ps4 unusable on the home screen

Hmm, so I need 3 more 12 or 14 TB drives in order to fully upgrade storage capacity. Could also use an expansion bay to move things over. I have 1x 10 TB drives unused right now, but without degrading the storage pool I need to replace the drives one at a time until the last 10TB drive is replaced.

Which would end up leaving me with 4x 10TB drives unused, 3x 12TB used, 3x 14TB drives used. So expansion bay could be easiest, but I also want to build a full custom made NAS solution.. hmm choices choices.

Not really. System is pretty autonomous. Toss a drive in, mark it as active, click repair and it'll migrate all the data it needs. It's raid 5 so it can survive a single disk failure (data is split between all so there's a part somewhere).

hey, so i have a somewhat oldish computer (i got it when i was turning 13, in 2016) and its been having issues lately. i plan to build a new one around march (maybe feb or jan) so ill be coming back to ask for help on that
but id like to focus on my current computer. it has a gtx 970 graphics card
a week or so ago, my computer got an error and i think it got stuck in a repair loop that i couldnt fix, so i ended up wiping it. i reinstalled and updated my drivers etc
yesterday, it shut down by itself twice. the second time i had to unplug it then plug it back in to turn it on. is this an overheating issue? my computer seems a bit dusty, maybe even on the inside, so would gently cleaning it help?
my biggest issue is that for the past few months its been having trouble staying connected to the internet. i dont have an ethernet cable, but i think its mostly a computer issue because my laptop connects just fine and can download games like skyrim or ark in less than 10 minutes, my switch stays connected perfectly fine, as does my phone and 3ds. but even when all those are turned off my computer has connection issues. the other day i redownloaded phasmophobia after the wipe, and it was downloading at like 200kb/s... i often suffer from lag in games, and sometimes my computer just straight up disconnects, even after we got a new router/modem(?) a few days ago. our plan says it should be like 1gig but i know thats not entirely realistic but id expect at least like 50mb/s
im not super well versed in computers so please bear with me, i apologize. i would really love some help though

Randomly my game likes to freeze and I tried doing the reinstall thing with deleting files. This is really common for unity engine games like phasmophobia and GTFO any other fixes? (game runs smooth 50-60fps at all times just random freezes) read online said something about an infinite code loop (I am a dummy at this)

Fans with LEDs don't excite me, reminds me of baseball cards on bicycle spokes, whoopee, look at me. I'd rather have a system capable of the performance for gaming, streaming, video editing, programming. White LED's to light up a motherboard during installation might be a good idea, I'd rather not see a distraction light on I'll program some WS 2812 LEDs, if I want to impress some pre-teens. So regarding the coolers, buy one if I want to buy one, is the advice? So this is just a chat channel, eh?

Ahoi everyone. I'm with a group that is very closely clustered (location wise) and has great internet. If we ping eachother we have ~40 MS, so pretty great. All other games run lag free P2P. Unfortunately, GTFO is unplayable. Picking up an item can take up to two seconds and enemies just teleport around. This happens irregardless of which one of us hosts.

e. x. Corsair keyboards have a non-standard layout so the bottom row (CTRL, SPACE etc.) doesn't match and you'd need a separate smaller kit.
