The booster effects themselves dont apply to the team, only the player equipping them. But collecting artifacts apply progress to the whole team; depending on everyone’s heat, everyone will get a different amount of progress towards a booster

Guess what they meant by that when they told him was that if you have something like med efficiency and you heal someone, it applies more healing to them
Yea thats how it can work too, but only the player that has med efficiency booster can heal players for more. Everyone else can’t heal others for more
supply and med efficiency are really the only ones that "apply" to other players but that is by proxy through the person who equipped it.

Tbh, the roadmap can signal that the update is coming soon, it's usually documenting work on the expeditions and the expeditions don't seem to actually take up much dev time.

sniper sentry definitely still feels better if they spawn where you want them to

so the burst sentry will be more consistent as you can just keep it close and swap it around based on where things spawn

Ah, you got unlucky and ran into a hacker or accidentally joined a modded lobby
Worst case you can try and get a group going, my group can't play too often so I've been looking for a second group or just using the matchmaking system more and a Reddit post will probably attract the few more needed
So sleepers will "yawn" every now and then making some noise and glowing, this means that moving near them or shining your flashlight on them will send them into their next phase where they move and click violently, if you set them off again in this state they will wake up and attack you
After being awake for abit the sleeper(former) will scream and wake up the rest of the room

Rooms need special alert triggers to wake up that way.
They should really make every room with an alert trigger a blood door, but w/e.
How possible is it to sneak past them?
It's hard, you have to avoid failing stealth at all.
It's easier to stealth the single room they're in, and then just kill them when they're the last thing up.

If an enemy that woke up doesn't move for more than 10s, teleport it again in a "safe spot" on the room

they have a thing where they despawn
it just doesn't always work that well
or may even be broken this rundown
there definitely is a despawn function but in my experience the timer varies wildly and it doesn't work half the time
Don't remember which level but I had one get stuck in a wall once
theres multiple levels enemies can get stuck behind walls

for sledge, you can kill a striker to the head from the front with slightly more than a half charge. to the back of the head you need like 10% charge only i think. you can also supposedly no-charge tap shooters to the back of the head but some people have said thats kind of buggy sometimes
im not too sure on the specifics of the other melee weapons

You're attacking him from the side, so you're probably doing a decent amount of extra damage.

Should be 2x in a 22.5 degree cone, falls off linearly to 1x until a 112.5 degree cone (an obtuse angle).

all i know is around 4 hybrids on 3 and 4 hybrids + 2 giants on 4
cucked on wave 4's shadows while soloing
How to GTFO
4 hybrids is correct, wave 4 having a giant isn't always guaranteed iirc, wave 2 having two shadow giants at the end is a set spawn. Wave 3 has shadows for the last wave and wave 4 has shadows for the last 2 or 3 waves. Also wave 5 always has 1 normal giant at the end of it
It's funny because every swarm seems to have like a small chance to have a Giant striker.
I've had a charger titan spawn on D2 error with the waves.
Also with C2 Hybrid Error. We got a Titan with 2 hybrids instead of the usual 3 hybrids in one of the waves
Even A1 extract. It's typically only strikers and shooters but on the off chance you get a titan
wave 5 doesn't matter because i'm giant kiting

R5A1 was the hardest A1 to solo what

Do they? It was a hard alarm, but it gave you a lot to help you deal with it (straight route through two doors), and I tend to consider clusters to be among the easier scan types to solo.
Also, most of R5A1 being hard was stealth, which is usually going to be the most trivial element in a solo.
It's only really a problem if there are lots of sleeping titans you must kill.

The short spammed scans waste time on travel, confusion, and latency
Travel doesn't scale with players except the spots scans land in
Confusion and latency just don't exist in solo
Also having to sit in the same spot longer is more dangerous in general
I think travel actually scales pretty bad.
If it takes 1.5 seconds to move between scans in a quad, it'll take 10.5 seconds solo.
I mean scan itself going from A to B is gonna take the exact same time regardless of player count

R2 shotgun is the strongest version of what is arguably still the burstiest wave clear in the game.

If you had good RNG on the alarm, it was also pretty trivial if you just have 2-3 waves in a row hit mines depending on how much time you needed.

Ah, yeah it can be pretty hard if you depend entirely on funneling, but you can just run mines.
They're not that good until R5, but you don't really need to kill the whole wave to make it a very manageable fight.
Yes, but it's harder to use than burst sentry, and burst sentry is probably better if you can make effective use of chip damage.
It needs more runway to be effective and does its damage slower (w/out boosters).

class 2 killed me 4 times but got thru the rest in one go after that

The class III is the actually hard part of R1A1 because of c-foam RNG.
Although funneling in R1 is pretty easy w/ slower enemies and a version of CS that still slaps.
R3 is on the harder side of A1s but it'd be like 4th (easiest-hardest)

R2 was either extremely hard or extremely easy based on wave spawns.

Splitting isn't really a problem for the good alarm strategies, though.
