personally I love it, it has a crazy amount of ammo. it wont kill much but it staggers
it had a good niche for door security
making it shoot far was the issue, idk man mines are very ammo inneficent

Auto Sentry is very good combined with cfoam
you can place it facing horizontal along the door
and then cfoam the door
the stumble from the auto sentry will make the door last almost twice as long

How would you improve it? A way for newer players to get introduced to the game and have something difficult presented, while being able to also give something more difficult for seasoned players?
With sectors, you're essentially getting more expeditions as they are layered on top of each other, bigger maps, more to do. Do them if you want, or not.

I love the echo this announcement makes. Just so climatic: accessing the locked zone and hearing the 'alarm' echo through out the level
I mean.. ||you're entering a locked area, with x type environment (high, extreme, etc) threat level, the bulkheads haven't been opened for a while it serves as a warning for anyone passing by, you've set off an alarm of sorts||

@fading tangle Once you see the "player joining" and the lobby is created, the game stops looking for more players, so to fill spots you'd need to go back to exit lobby and start searching again, or fill via other ways like sharing code in the discord. Hopefully in a future update we can improve that.

and they just broken so you cant ping them on the bio at all

It’s a strat where you turn around while running and back dash to get a long period to look behind you
And it’s been round since we’ve been able to play the games
So if you back dash and then jump backwards it seems to do a extended jump maybe 1.5x the standard. I think neko knows what I’m talking about

I keep hearing how a lot of people think R2E1 was the best level, can someone tell me why because I am really curious on what made it so good
People just liked that it was difficult.
A lot of people who enjoyed it still thought it wasn't the best designed level.
Way too many resources during the early bits.
it did have way too much res, if played in a way not designed to play it
by that i mean pulling every room and killing, not stealthing and being very particular about the res you grabbed
Even then, being particular would just mean you'd have fucktons of extra resources.
Because then you're still getting too many (albeit probably not quite as many) and just not using them.

You won't quite get max resources, but you'll probably be 80+ everything with items to carry.

playing it the way its supposed to be played? i think pulling is a viable strat and mining. def a way to play and save resources
then again solo is dif from squad, i cant remember how it was really with a squad
or just solo through to get stuff while team waits, there many ways to get save resources and be left over with a lot for E1
full solo you basically had to take the 2-3 packs total you got in a zone. Since almost all the boxes were locked
and too risky to deal with giants

I'm doing the first level of GTFO with some friends and we got more than an hour into it and one of us disconnected and can't come back. It turns out they picked up the objective items and we can't finish the level now because of it. Do we just have to restart and do the level over again? Is this being worked on? Like, a global inventory of some sort to prevent this.

Lowest video settings get me only 2% more fps then highes settings on 1080p, so basicly no difference (and yes v-sync is off, 80fps).
How can this be?
At this resolution, you might be CPU limited and so lowering graphics settings won't change a lot especially since the game isn't very optimized yet

I think it's somewhat annoying that the main objective has to be cleared everytime.
New people will likely start with just the main path and when they later come back to try out something harder, they're forced to repeat what they've already done.

I dont camp in discord. cargo mission is not even a term for me. There is only silent extraction or extraction after security scan. They give just completely wrong info with no alarm extraction in A1.
then that's on you for not knowing different objectives have different scenarios... i think it's not wrong info but the right one that they are telling you not everything is silent
all 3 player i played with (not new) also assumed after A1 that silent extraction was fixed.
Also do not assume something did not happen for a level in a tier and is true for the same levels in that tier. Only because A1 doesnt have an alarm doesnt mean it is the same for A2^^

Scouts can be those too, if they're not a big red dot but a small red dot moving around.
It should fix itself once you enter the room or the specific area it's in

While the reactor timer starts it stops the timer and freezes the game, the game may carry on for other players then freeze for them, became unplayable happened after three restarts x_X

enemies walk on spot, the objective freezes/timer ticks slower but players carry on, then speeds to to origional point again sometimes

The system is still the same. They spawn 2 rooms away for your location. That was not changed.
i thought i saw them spawn 1 room away during A1 ||uplink|| but idk

How 'random' are the missions? Just played one of the Tier B missions where ~3/4 of the Ammopacks (I literally queried all of them) were in the Extreme hazard zone. Is that just bad RNG or are certain areas seeded to have between X and Y ammopacks, etc?
Resources and enemies are decided by zone.

If there are 4 uses of ammo in z33, then there will always be 4 uses of ammo in z33 (with some variance depending on how they're split into packs).
Gotcha, geez.. gotta conserve ammo on that mission, then.

If you use the LFG it'll be easier to play with your duo and 2 others, matchmaking is pretty new so I can't comment on that if you want to use that

@slate arrow I would say though that I wouldn't recommend using the same PTT key, if your teammates have the in-game VOIP on you will talk in double for them through both discord and the in-game. Although this is entirely up to you.
While jumping around to find interesting spots to get/climb to for fun, I've managed to first get myself so wedged up in a ceiling I couldn't conceivably get out, and find a cheese spot lmao

Sooo I just downloaded this game. Why do I not see a "Join game" button in my stage menu. I have yet to actually get into a game (if that matters, I didnt see a tutorial).

You have to click the level you want to play and either host or find others using matchmaking or in the Discord LFG
The match making button shows up after clicking a level. There is no tutorial
