I have a weird bug that happens to me every now and then whilst playing

I will sometimes just fall through spots in the map and then get teleported back up

The spots are fine again upon a reload

And me and my group have made sure it isnt mod related, as @alpine hemlock (who was playing vanilla at the time) has also fallen through in the same way

Just a client and host issue

The game does too much between host and client tbh

#

Like if you get a real bad desync then you could end up with no lights until you sync back

#

And if it happens to the host too then it's still just that host is not giving the required info because their game did a funky on that tile and so even host doesn't know that the tile isn't supposed to be like that and ends up syncing a fucked up version of it

#

Really not knowledgeable about netcode stuff, they're encrypted to hell for the sake of data saving so it would take a real long time to actually cross reference the things

#

The game does render it's own versions of the tiles for clients but I guess host can override it

#

Lights fucking up also seems like the game tries to sync light flashing between players and so it just failsafes to all off

#

Oh and it being a targeted issue between you and them can also be a mishap on the connection between you two

#

Had it happen quite a few times that I was unable to play with someone because our games just would never sync together properly but it seems to get fixed randomly one day
