it's mostly about wrangling them, you can actually get a good ways in but definitely dont expect to be able to do everything with them
this run was so good, because the key was right next to the door in Area 50, damn everything went fine until the bots felt suicidal

even if you wake up an enemy and a bot is nearby that enemy has a chance to scream at the bot instead (yes screams don't actually make noise outright and they are targeted), and if it chooses the bot as a target it will make no noise

yes, bots are best with anything other than foam. They also cheat with biotracker with more range and faster pings
if you use bio, you can never match what a bot is able to do with them

they get 360 angle instead of a cone and have like half the cooldown lol

you do get more intel on sleeping enemies than a bot which can only ping awake enemies

Please dont place sentrys outside a closed door (especially not if foaming and never if mining)
The only time you close a door is if you spam hel auto sentries for the short time they get extra enemies inside their sight

From the tests I did aeons ago, as along as you dont put that to low, it's fine.
It does get better at high but it's more about the shadows being sharper
which I guess helps in some situation but it's just low that IMHO it's very bad

i occasionally had it and its annoying when dealing with shadow

if someone joined late they may have been able to plug a cell into a random generator, softlocking the mission

Only things that stick out to me as inaccurate:
Back damage is heavily influenced by positioning, but it's actually decided by facing direction. It compares the direction you're looking to the direction a sleeper is facing towards and gives you a bonus based on the angle (1x until 112.5 degrees, and then climbs to 2x until a 22.5 degree angle where it maxes out). The positioning explanation is much more accurate than a hitbox explanation, though, as it will give you results in practice.
Precision and sleeper bonuses do apply to partial charges, not just full charges. They use the same formula as damage, afaik. So, spear w/ a 50% charge (climbing from 1 to 1.3 precision) will receive a 1.0375 precision multi.

Typical base would be
Bio tracker, 2 sentries (either burst and sniper sentry or 2 burst)
for special, all the hel weapons, combat shotgun and normal shotgun, burst cannon are generally good pick
try them all out
the issue is caused by you moving out of cocoons proximity, and this can be from any given cocoon cluster and then leaving the area, so even if you enter an area which is free of them, you can still get it because the audio for them played at all
super glad we have fixes for it
remember to ammo balance since it seems you keep running out of ammo
aka shoot both main and special to prevent overfilling
hel rifle is uber broken (good against everything youll see). It has 5 pen (hits up to 5 in a line) and 1 shots small enemies anywhere
4 shots giants with bodyshots and can even 1 shot headshot scouts
general good picks aside from that to try out for r1c1:
main:
sawed off (broken)
Hel revolver (learn reload cancel) - rly good. Has pen and 2 taps smalls
Carbine - easy to use. Very spamable
Dmr - hel revo, without the pen but more range and 1 shots the shooter smalls on headshot
special:
hel rifle (as explained above)
Hel gun (1 shots to head, 2 to body on smalls). More ammo than hel rifle but less range and obv the dmg
High cal (hel rifle without the pen)
Revo (hel gun without the pen and a bit less dmg but easier to use)
Are also good choices for smalls here
Burst cannon is great for big enemies (2 bursts into their body kill) and can be solid into smalls still
burst cannon wave clear is a little tricky to do however

You dont need to instantly plug codes. The wave spawns are fixed amounts, so use the timer to loot.
Resources are mega abundant. So shoot -> kill fast -> more time to loot -> repeat

1 Wave Defense
2 gathering resources in between
3 getting the code into the terminal in time
If you already know how R1C1's reactor works, then its just the first two things you need, and they can go hand in hand
the most popular place to defend for many reasons is the bridge tile. the hole in the wall at the south end is a great choke point where you can get angles and focus your sentries, the bridge itself is a perfect funnel if/as you fall back, and its only about a 30 second run to the reactor terminal.
when you start looting after the shooting, you have quite a lot of resources around you to spend as the code person runs out and runs back. and on longer warm up times for the later codes, you have enough time to run forward and loot in previous areas.
when giants spawn having someone with a good weapon for bigs like hel rifle is useful (especially for hybrids) as well as saving tool by only having 2 sentries down for most waves, saving it for later waves or the waves with Hybrids (4, 6, 8).
this is definitely a 3 sentry + 1 bio tracker level, and when you learn all sentries are not created equal.
Burst is the best all-arounder.
Sniper sentry thrives with bio tracking and the long sight lines on this level.

Which ngl mostly will just mean your team isnt managing ammo well or simply missing a crap ton of loot

In general R1C1 is the accuracy/kill check of the beginner levels
If you can't kill enough things with the ammo you have, sometimes you just die
SMG accrat and like Machine Guns. I used to run the pistol with alot of ammo st and delete key shotgun

SMG and Machine Gun or SMG and Hell Sniper
Roughly, even without picking up anything before starting reactor, you can shoot your way to 5th wave consistently just with the resources in the bridge zone

Double tap rifle isnt bad
BUT it needs you to hit a headshot and bodyshot in the double hit burst it gives you reliably

yes
that zone specifically has multiple possible "builds" and that causes the seeds to be different
its at LEAST three
funnily enough u can correlate cell positions & marker positions with the scan to predict where the scan is gonna be
if you can call the one scan seed you see most "common", we got a different rarer scan build two attempts in a row, including our e2 duo clear
"with the scan" meaning that you discover the scan from correlating the other two, or that you need to correlate some scan RNG from somewhere (stealth scans or first scans in NM6) to predict scan?

ill post the vod soon so explaining makes more sence what i mean
in code that scan specifically is supposed to have only 1 scan placement. However, because the game build process breaks later in the level the game ends up selecting a set of scans. The same process which selects the scan however ALSO selects where the cell spawns and where and how markers spawn which are also supposed to be static. So by looking at how the room looks u can predict how the scan will be. This method can also be used to know prior to dropping into the level where the cell is as the game outputs a size of the navmesh for that zone which differs depending on which markers u got.

so it kinda like goes and comes
difficulty is non linear in this game
each rundown has its own
is r6cx still not soloable
the game is never impossible solo (btw solo with and without bots is a noteable distinction) but a few levels are incredibly improbable and a ton are just very boring gameplay loops (kiting)
When you start playing not solo, realistically when you stop trying to solo it becomes impossible to solo it because you just use team
its not that it isnt soloable... its that enemies get stuck without the player having to intentionally cause it. So it was always ranked as "not done without stuck enemies"

Technically you can slam custom vanity backpack as a locker and clear game by moving through textures because it will have a physical body that pushes you under certain angles, though needs some practice on controlling the force

Ehhh you can kinda slam locker as a vanity item in backpacks, but it will retain it's physical properties kinda, so with that equipped and looking at certain angles it starts doing weird things with character literally slamming you into wall or flying, upon death you ascend to heaven
As someone who has looked into/done some very hard solo stuff, every level is possible solo, glitchless and without boosters
