Question regarding scout behavior. Do scouts set their end position at the start of activation, then move to that position without rotation? This means crab walking and walking backwards if required by terrain?

Example. A Scount wants to end position walking west. However it is At the top of stairs leading down east. The scount will set itself facing west, walk backwards down the stairs east, move sidways north or south, then once able will walk west to its intended direction?

Not sure i will ever trust myself with shadow knife kills. They can be moving one direction but not facing that way. Is there a good way to recognize orientation for a shadow before the approach? I do appreciate the information.

you could get used to the bio tracker movement because it's not in their center (you can use it to shoot a shadow scout and find where their head is (left or right) based on the triangle's movement

otherwise if you're on client you can get fucked by desync making him face the wrong way

it has another effect that prevents enemies from AFK'ing due to target acquisition errors. You also need SEF (StuckEnemyFix) to completely fix the issue for enemies that spawn out of bounds or on top of disconnected navmesh so you don't deal with stragglers after alarms when there's not meant to be
