Most tumors are close, so it will just cost extra ammo on a tumor or two

Its fall-off profile is similar to BC and choke, both of which perform very well on Kraken regardless of tumor spawns.

that being said, assuming you're trying to melt a lock because there's sleepers nearby, the bots also "cancel" their action when something nearby starts to glow so it can make em take even longer

then enemies themselves have multipliers on these weakspots (usually head and back) so you do actually end up doing more damage, so it's a way to finetune the final damage in conjunction with the precision multiplier

Don’t forget to side-strafe enemies if you’re getting overwhelmed, there’s no need to face-tank damage just to rush a scan. Revolver is great if you put the work in, otherwise Hi-cal pistol is easier and more consistent to kill with despite having less ammo and range. Always good to try out other weapons to see what works for you, sawed off & revolver is fine though.

I think you do a lot of things without thinking about it when you're good

the whole reload thing is an example, people that know the game try to reload a lot more between each enemy kill

during pubs I never hear a reload apart from when they're out of ammo

sometimes make some think they have infinite ammo but no, they're just waiting thst their entire mag is finished

there is also the skill of... not reloading always because swapping faster is more important

Mean if you know the level you also know what will come.Also thing about knowing the level.Sometimes opening this door to make a nice path for them to kill and vice versa.

He did a good thing trying it and he will prob do a better try trying some other guns that can combo it better.

How does one get better at solo scans

Whats the priority? Killing or doing scans?

If you get overun then you kill all or most enemies if you have no bio.Each wave is like 20 enemies.

Get in scan and get killed or jump out kill all or most of them reload fast and do scan kill the leftovers.Just have to play the game a bit more to know that and expierence it.
