bcos pretty much anything bots do can't wake enemies (including moving/shooting)

my mates usually bring a Sniper Turret, HEL Auto Turret and a Bio Tracker and we feel like Tool-wise these work for us however weapon-wise we arent really sure of what to go and only I really have a set gun loadout

weapon wise for now u can just experiment, try out all the guns, see wat u like and what u dont, and then if u need u can start going for more meta weapons but first have fun with it ksmdkm
on tools i could say the same, but if u want like tips, foam without mines is quite underwhelming, although for practically all of r1 (excepting A1) 3 sentries is about thee best
once u get into r2 and beyond mines + foam combo is very very useful depending on the mission

sentries vary a lot, like hel auto as its description states is a stagger sentry mostly, without damage but stopping power- which for most levels its not as needed
sniper- well it works for very big enemies and long range rooms, but u probs havent seen a lot of those as r1 doesnt have many
burst seems 'not special' but u can guess its about the all rounder
shotgun sentry is the best

we can usually melee them as a 4 just not when they like to be so close to each other haha

been using the terminal a lot but we usually exploring for artifacts and i dont think they show on terminal
im usually the only one using the terminal as others cant be bothered using it and just have me tell them the info and ping stuff haha

yeaa.. artifacts/boosters arent rly part of the intended game experience (as in they arent considered for the design or balance of levels, weapons, enemies etc)
similarly to consumables they dont show up in terms
surely not knowing the terminal wont bite you in the ass 
get them to at least become used to handling one. It will be VERY VERY helpful later down the line
(especially considering how simple they are)

Bat is for Giants, spear is for collecting dust
bat has stagger (which makes recovering mistakes easier but is pretty meh) and environmental multi (which means it breaks locks with a tap and breaks doors just as fast tapping as charging... lol)
spear range (and precision multi) sadly doesnt rly matter in most cases
spear: never
hammer: most of the time
knife: smalls black hole
bat: break lock black hole
spear: for funny boss melee kills*
i tried hammer and just didnt like how slow it felt, same with spear, bat felt meh, only knife felt like I could use it for clearing stealthly when there is multiple around (cant trust my mates not to somehow mess up their melee)
you gotta pre charge hammer when moving around

this is honestly such a big mistake beginners do (aka moving, usually even crouching, up to an enemy and THEN charging instead of charging and then moving to insta kill)

i think i just enjoy knife for being able to move around and kill multiple quickly which with hammer felt like I couldnt
hammer can be quite nimble and fast when killing smalls, but takes more knowledge in breakpoints

Hello guys! We were playing gtfo and trying to finish R6CX for the whole week! But every time we teleporting to zone_0 to do 3 terminals UPLINK_CONNECT we cannot go further the second terminal. No matter how many ammo or health we have we always just can't take so many incoming mobs at all. Is there any tips to survive in zone_0?
Consider doing bottom, top, middle
Middle can break pathing, and if you do it second you get a big build up of enemies that hit at once
isnt top-middle-bottom better?
I dont fully understand, there will be less mobs? Most of a times we get killed on a way to aecond terminal even cant start connect

Back damage? You mean that it can damage multiple enemies at one time?
No, HEL Auto specifically has a bug where it receives the flanking bonus as a sentry.
which gives it unusually good killing power
Consider just using 3x burst sentry (Mechatronic SGB3), it's impossible to go wrong with it and burst sentry is very strong.

Standard use of HEL Auto is very bad.
It's not a good sentry from front
It's good in specific places where you have tool to burn and just need a sentry that will full clear an encounter for you.
So very strong in speeds, R2E1, and to some extent in solo.
I'd run it in R4C3 tbh
It is also good as a special answer in the rare case that Sniper Sentry has no good placement options

it solos waves
If you place it forward-facing as a stagger sentry, or if it didn't have back damage in general, it does less for more tool, which makes it just bad compared to burst (and Sniper in most cases)
i still think forward facing can b useful for like surges or solo holds
but yea ofc ur right burst is just better 90+% of the time. its too hard to use hel auto correctly

it is possible to bork all hot logs because of cell movement
like you go from 2nd sec door to error door (ignoring alarm time open for example)
you gotta merge like almost all splits from the error portion even if the class 3 door was open insta

your target prio is off badly, you should play for stagger on the horde and prioritise those in the process of attacking you

Good scout levels are R8C1, R7D1 Overload, there's an R7B1 checkpoint you can set up w/ some effort (you ignore 3 scouts to reach a checkpoint and then backtrack for them), R4B3 has a decent number of scouts in Secondary, R5B1/R2C1/R2E1 have scouts that are easy to reach nearby.

i've heard they either stop enemy spawns when asking for the lights on 41, or that they can even affect stuff way farther ahead like the dual scan?

well in the thing you posted in media 30 mins ago enemies were coming from the tower, probably being error enemies that spawned in a bit earlier and decided that was the quickest path. having those enemies gone would help a lot in centralising the direction enemies come from (unless im misremembering and surge enemies actually path through there even if you are at the bottom)
that was only the surge enemies, i was in that room for a couple minutes struggling to find that cell
is there two doors to that room before scan?
no only the 1 direction they can come from
if you can get the doors over there closed without bots being stupid it can delay the surge quite well for a lil bit

yeah but what if on you instead, full auto isn't real good with it but quick taps to stagger on different enemies is the good way to play it, dont know if loss of sawed off is worth though because of bots being bad
i have thought about it, especially because with the sawed-off that just kills them which means they'll spawn in again immediately and say i need to move to a diff scan they might attack from a diff angle compared to the rest

you cancel a lot of reload animations once the number has actually updated (not all guns, but a lot)
you do this by just switching off when the number has updated
the typcal way to use this is to
- swap to your other gun and shoot with it
- shove -> swap back to the gun you just reloaded (quickest way to get back)
some guns u barely gain half a second
some guns it can cut the reload time to half or even less
seems abit complicated just to reload your gun half a second faster, the lengths gtfo players go
