There are a decent number of A tiers which honestly provide a lot of challenge without dragging on too long. R1A1 -> R2A1 -> R5A2PE pretty good difficultly curve and a lot of variety.
||R5A2PE drags on a bit with the respawn room but it's a great chance to figure out strategy of fighting a boss solo||

Me and a friend of mine have tried clean reinstalls, restarts, and file verifications but it's been crashing either before rundown selection or before/during dropdowns into missions. and hel rifle is pretty great, very flexible for all sorts of missions

generally guns depends a lot of what kind of enemies ur facing and how's the layout of the level- if u need shorter range longer range or has a lot of combat or stealth

but hel rifle is really flexible on that sense while being great

prec rifle is a little less flexible but it can be really good

and snipers the most inflexible, needs very specific things to be even considered
