running back takes too long and it is boring af
hammer charge up is 1.8s. Scream cooldown on striker is 5 to 20 seconds. Suppose u are insanely unlucky and get 5 seconds: u get 3 hammer hits. For 4 people it is 12 hits. If anything is out of the room then either THE ENTIRE blood door ran out of the room or you fucked up
And most of the time u get 16 hits minimum because scream cd is above 6 seconds anyway
Are there merits to the non-sledge melee weapons that warrant their use over the sledge? Or should one just sledgemaxx forever
knife is probably the pair to the sledge in quality, being a lot faster than it and dealing with smalls extremely nicely, with it being just regular for scouts and giants but still not bad if u know what ur doing and coordinate with ur team
the bat is like a mini hammer and big knife, extremely staggering so very useful for cooperation with ur team in case of giants or whatever else, and it's a nice inbetween
for doing funny stuff
just dont pick spear 
generally there's no need to take anything but 4 sledges, but u could also make the argument for taking 3 hammers and a knife and whatever else

Bat is stagger focused. Less dmg but you soft stagger litteraly everything. Its good to support on a less confident team (and stops mistakes the most)
Never Spear, Knife has usefulness in speeds or for combat-centric levels. Bat is similar, and is a nice go-between (but hammer and knife are generally better).

the spear range does a lot for confidence having never completed, like, anything past a b secondary

with sledge, jump before you whack
sledge arcs down from the top of the screen so if you jump so ur above the scout when u swing you're less likely to miss

I was looking at damage numbers does the bullet of a bc do 22.1 or 22
wiki and in game give different results
That being said I find chargers are rarely alone
And the BC is good for hybrids and bbcs and what not

Having the game run for too long leading to „memory leak“ with a bug we call shooter bug.
thank you guys for the explanation. We went in with a bio scanner and I think its caused by the flyers themselves causing the shooter bug. When you are in rooms where you get close to the ceiling, they go up through the ceiling and indefinitely fly off into the void lol.

Shooter bug happens by magazines, glowsticks/fog repellers and shooter projectiles endlessly flying and staying loaded or snth
Magazines don’t get cleaned up after the level, so one falls through the floor and eventually leads to memory leak where projectile collisions don’t work
Also afflicts foam on doors/things
I'm pretty sure they burst cancel but I'll be honest and say I tried it like 2-3 times mainly on R3C1
I'd just stick to Verutas tbh
Also I didnt try again since BC went from 5 to 3 bullets per burst
are the bots just cracked with burst rifle and veruta, or are those like the weapons that stop the bots from being bad the most

if you're relatively new to the game, u should experiment and try out all the guns, see which ones you like the most, cuz even if some of the guns are better they aren't all as accessible
except for short rifle. probably stay away from that one

Short rifle should be S tier
Let me introduce to you, the short rifle. On paper and given to an aimbot, this is like the most broken weapon in the game but it feels like horse shot to use because to use it yo its full potential you literally need to be superhuman, able to click 20 times per second. This is where the macro comes in. You create a macro that when you hold a button, it clicks really fast, mimicking full auto. Don't go overboard with the firing speed. I set mine to fire somewhere between 5 and 10 per second, similar to the assault rifle. Then you bind that button to your most accessible mouse button.
Now you have a weapon that is the most generally ammo efficient in the game with the normal semi auto and then when you switch to full auto, it has up to the highest dps in the game, each bullet dealing more than twice of what the assault rifle does, still with a huge ammo capacity.
The only drawbacks are the somewhat hard to control recoil and half stagger, yet remember it still staggers more per bullet than the assault rifle and pretty much always staggers on heashot. Its also not super great for sniping shooters with early fall off. Deletes both strikers and giants though

Is syncing melee hits on charger scouts reliable enough to try? The other person I play with is on the other side of the US so there's definitely some ping on their end, not sure how much that matters to sync melee

im pretty sure ive seen them trickle in
some will spawn immediately (maybe about 30-50% of the wave), and then the remaining enemies will spawn in afterwards

standard alarms spawn in a big wave, and then when that wave is close to dead, another spawns in

if you finish the scans and dont hear a second scream, congrats, u only have to fight one wave
so technically if you're close to done with a scan, it could be optimal to not kill things till the scans are done to ensure you dont get a second wave
or in select circumstances, you can step off scan to spawn even more enemies
you can see this in r4e1 speedruns to get enough enemies behind you to block tank spawn
do tanks count as 2 boys or 3 for spawn cap

Full autos in general arent good in this game. They lack damage, time to kill and more
Bullpup specifically has a noticeably long reload aswell
so you shoot and dont do much, but you also reload a longer time than other guns
(Other main weapons with long reloads are either exceptionally powerful (hel shotgun), have a reload cancel (dmr, going from 2.3 to a bit over 1 second) or both (hel revolver)
