Carbine is the brainless upgrade to pistol. An argument can be made its the same thing basically, even if it spreads its damage output across 4 bullets. Better DPS, got a nice sight... Relatively speaking.

How do u deal with long aggro while fast stealthing? Like listening to the crackling noises?

Depends on the room and on how fast you wanna go
Like, if the room has 3 enemies who gives a shit about long aggro, 1 dies istantly, 1 dies during animation and you can kill the last one even if it screams
Otherwise I just try to sync them with flashlight
but that ain't really "fast" stealth anymore
Also if an enemy is close enough it'll try attacking you before screaming
Which gives you even more time to just kill it
You do wanna listen for it yeah.
You can also play around it by forcing it to happen on an enemy you are happy for it to happen on. If there are multiple enemies glowing and the long range aggro roll succeeds it'll pick the clostest one. So in cases where a far enemy would be a bad long range aggro you can intentionally glow a closer one to force them to be aggroed instead and then deal with them.
And the fact that only one enemy can be long aggro-ed at once, it makes the further one cannot be aggro-ed?

i think luck only rlly comes across in one objective, the warden timed sequence
if that objective couldn't have terminals on the same room it wouldn't be that bad

apart from that is super minor stuff like a giant that sometimes spawns or doesn't
uh r7d1 and r8c1 overload
those are the only levels with it
ive had runs where ive had to go into all 3 side zones in r8c1 overload and ive had runs where we had to open none of them
the difficulty of those two runs were very different
if it was like a code that forced u into the directions maybe it would've been better
instead of just picking of a pool of 20 terminals including ones that are super close
maybe if it was just all three zones with no rng even
it would've been better

i remember there was one zone where we had a terminal that was literally like 5 feet from the security door
and there was another terminal that was like 5 rooms deep
If you are going for any of the same for the zones itβs a 1/16
i mean maybe not the same middle hub terminal but even just getting any terminal a couple times or three times in a row it's still very granted
like getting east terminal 3 times it's just free
i mean for speedruns i get wanting the triple hub term, but for casual running even if you only have to open one zone its super manageable
and i got that in like
four different runs

r2c1 kinda sucks, its a pain dealing with scouts and zits and cramped rooms
PR is good, and dont be afraid to shoot scouts if you aren't confident in meleeing them
also, if you arent already, save the terminal closest to extract for last
you can shoot a scout, then shut and mine a door

just make sure you dont blow any doors you need for holding the uplinks
R8A1 is pretty easy
But hybrids in blood doors, giants in first zone, awful extract
extract would be a bit of a pain

hel rifle hel gun hel shotgun and hel revo all do an amazing job at that

but well it's decent, it just lacks range for a reactor in my opinion

hel revo has good damage especially for a main slot, but you have to be precise, and each of its 8 shots can only pierce two enemies
hel gun can pierce up to 4 enemies, but you have to generally aim for headshots on smalls to be the most effective
hel rifle can pierce 6 and can one shot enemies on bodyshot, but has lower ammo and is slower
u don't generally need to headshot smalls, a bodyshot works fine
it has enough ammo to back those numbers up

a reactor is ultimately 3 parts,
1 Wave Defense
2 gathering resources in between
3 getting the code into the terminal in time
If you already know how R1C1's reactor works, then its just the first two things you need, and they can go hand in hand
the most popular place to defend for many reasons is the bridge tile. the hole in the wall at the south end is a great choke point where you can get angles and focus your sentries, the bridge itself is a perfect funnel if/as you fall back, and its only about a 30 second run to the reactor terminal.
when you start looting after the shooting, you have quite a lot of resources around you to spend as the code person runs out and runs back. and on longer warm up times for the later codes, you have enough time to run forward and loot in previous areas.
when giants spawn having someone with a good weapon for bigs like hel rifle is useful (especially for hybrids) as well as saving tool by only having 2 sentries down for most waves, saving it for later waves or the waves with Hybrids (4, 6, 8).
this is definitely a 3 sentry + 1 bio tracker level, and when you learn all sentries are not created equal.
Burst is the best all-arounder.
Sniper sentry thrives with bio tracking and the long sight lines on this level.
shot gun sentry is in the game

if you have a bot, they are a boss with the biotracker so give them that, and if you have three bots god go with you.
