in the discord app on your pc, copy the lobby ID of whatever lobby someone is hosting. The lobby ID will be saved in your computer's clipboard. The game will read your clipboard and connect it to the lobby in-game. You don't need to paste anything.

Ignore all these people bashing you for that comment. I understand some people have difficulty adjusting to new things and dealing with change. I promise you that using LFG is better than using match making. You get to play with people who have experience and are willing to teach others. You also get more insight into the community using discord. Honestly all games that have MM should be integrated with discord like this. It makes it a lot easier to find the right people to play with. Give it a chance, you'll see.

My problem with matchmaking is that when I am with 2 people in the room and I click matchmake again , all people get kicked out (except me) and the lobby id changes... whyyyy?

This old talking point? Player numbers will bottom out at somewhere under 1k and will always bottom out somewhere under 1k if there is no new content for a long time. It's to be expected of the chosen content model for GTFO, a cycling campaign, and the most important factor for growth is going to be having regular content releases to encourage people to keep coming back. MM is not a magic bullet that will suddenly give GTFO 1k+ players at all times.

This isn't to say MM shouldn't be better, it absolutely should be finished, but giving the game more players is not up to MM.
