    Again, thank you to those that helped me get my foot through the door of this game. However, I still face an annoying problem: navigation. Often times I find myself getting lost rooms while everyone else (who have likely completed the level and know what the objectives look like) is off progressing the game. I didn't mind this all that much while in Rundown 1 as I was learning the basic mechanics. Now in Rundown 2, I want to have a better bearing on traversal in general, and to do that, I need to lay out some rules.

  • Everyone holds a different tool: This goes along with me requesting to put the expert strats on hold, because I want to be able to figure them out eventually. If I'm told off the bat the gear that would be most effective in an area, it rids part of the monotony that comes with me being new to said area. If I want to know, ill ask.

  • Do not wonder in other zones by yourself: I get that splitting up helps cover more ground, but it makes it easy for me to lose track of what's going on. If you're able to clear large swaths of Sleepers by yourself, cool. But atleast have everyone in close proximity while doing so.

  • Use terminals to plan routes and locate items: This mainly pertains to objective items like IDs or Decoders. Even if we've deduced the general area "finding it eventually" does NOT help. If we can ping the item, lets ping the item. Additionally, terminals act as a second pause menu/checkpoint for me to process how far we've gotten in an area.

All this may sound like I'm being a No-Nonsense Nancy but I assure that is not the case. Understand this: I've logged only 30 hours into this game. Im partway through R2 yet with hardly the game sense and confidence. Surely that won't suffice later on...

Some ground rules before joining my lobby.

  • Everyone holds a different tool: This goes along with me always requesting to put the expert strats on hold. Going in off the bat with the most effective gear for an area rids part of the monotony that comes with me being new to said area. If I want to know anything, ill ask.

  • Do not wonder in other zones by yourself: If you're able to clear large swaths of Sleepers by yourself, cool. But it makes it easy for my brain to keep track of what's going on if we're all in the same room while doing so on the off chance you happen to mess up and alert the enemies.

  • Use terminals to plan routes and locate items: This mainly pertains areas that have one or many objective items scattered across the map. Even if we've deduced the general area, "finding it eventually" does NOT help. If we can ping the item, lets ping the item. Also, do not pre-query keycards to security doors. That's information we haven't even gotten to yet and may not even need.

All this may sound like I'm being a No-Nonsense Nancy but I assure that is not the case. Please understand I'm going through these levels f o r t h e f i r s t t i m e. I want to experience any surprises the game has in store. I don't mind any shenanigans we happen to get into so long as we aren't playing ahead of the game... I want to have 300-400+ hours into this game by the time I complete all the levels atleast once.

If a level calls for shotgun sentries, we will use shotgun sentries. If you think any differently, that's fine, but don't be surprised when we die because of your stupidity in not listening to me. Also, I WILL laugh at you for it.
