Shooting has less RNG accuracy and its generally more responsive.

It offers such a long term safety net for them that they don't need to worry about money for a while, but this of course damages the industry as well, because indie Devs who might not make actually good games can have the safety net as well, meaning the natural sorting of the industry is gone

Just throwing my story in the ring regarding security, I bought Ashen off EGS, played it for 2 days with my boyfriend before having the game revoked and less then the amount i spent refunded to my card (they blamed re-converting the money between currencies)
when i asked why they told me that I should contact my bank and get a new credit card but COULD not specify why.

Headsets generally simulate 5.1/7.1 sound, although some, more expensive models, actually use multiple speakers on each side.

I use actual 7.1 and it almost never works apart from very few times where a game/anything has a proper audio channel setup, and even then it's often 5.1. It can also create extremely weird bugs. But when it works, it's great.

I bought BL4 (at launch), but it steadily went down hill so I'm going to wait for MW. It'll be the first I haven't bought at launch, besides the one before BL4. I would say Warframe has a decent system as you can gather the platinum rather fast and it has a stream of new content. It's just too overwhelming. I want to say next year's Marvel Avenger's will be ok, as they are offering all the DC free and charging for skins (no lootboxes), but I don't know how much each skin will be.

In shooters/competitive games skins can be an advantage though, getting to pay money for an all white camo skin that renders you near invisible on a snowy map that someone else can't get without paying turns what is normally "Just skins" into some ol' bullshit.
Mind you that's a bit of a fringe case for cosmetics and only really applies to pvp games.

Destiny 2's Bright Engram/Eververse has definitely improved since Bungie left Activision in the dust. Yes, there are still certain cosmetic items you can only acquire through real money (Silver is still a thing), but you're basically earning a Bright Engram about every hour or two, and that's after your weekly "Well Rested" 3X XP wears off after your first 3 bright engrams for the week (on each character), which you can generally burn through in an hour.
As for the "white camo in the snow" issue mentioned above, in Destiny's PvP, enemy guardians have a red glow/aura around them that renders such "advantages" null and void.

actually no, it's enough to be honest, but a better example is how the limited-time snowball emote in For Honor grants you a takedown (a.k.a. feeds renown) and doesn't raise the revenge meter
so you had to pay a bunch of steel you can get from grinding to get it on every character, but you'd rather pay like 50€ I think, and that's a viable strategy (indeed, since feeding revenge for a takedown isn't worth the trade, too risky)
and correct me on this one, but there's one little black girl named "Claudette" I think in Dead by Daylight which is really hard to spot as the murder too
and in Fortnite there were some harder to spot enemies based on the environment too, skins are just a mess and really hard to deal with if you want people to wear fancy stuff unless it's just weapon skins like CS:GO

back to the topic of a fair lootbox system, it's just Overwatch and there also are emotes to go into third person safely anyways (dances for example) but afaik it isn't a big deal/a strat

Yeah nothing actually supports 7.1 natively, so your just going to end up with simulated 7.1 coming out of 5.1

Actually dang, now that im looking it up again it seems more recently that dual channel headsets with dolby atmos/DTS seem to outperform true 5.1 sets now
