there are exceptions, like uplinks for example, during uplinks the enemies also try to spawn 2 rooms away but in the same zone, they won't spawn outside of the zone, so it happens often that they spawn only 1 room away

We had never made it past the Main bulkhead before our winning run on R4C3. Always died at main bulkhead alarm.

When we beat it on our winning run everything was fuzzy from there since we hadn’t been in the section of the level in almost a year. Not only did we forget the layout, but we’d never done it with the constant Chargers before. We cleared the alarms and section with incredible teamwork, but on the last segment before final alarm door to extraction, I stayed too far behind while dealing with the constant Chargers. Theocog and ShasXV moved 3 rooms away (I forgot to push with them) and it caused the next constant wave to spawn in the room behind them. Since they were closer wave closed on them and woke room. ShasXV went down, and while Theocog made his escape to get to me, it took just long enough that a wave spawned in the hub room where I was, insta killing me and Bishop.

Theocog somehow clutched the 2 waves we hadn’t fully cleared and the wokeb room of Chargers, plus a third wave that spawned while he was doing that.

He was using a pistol and sniper

Absolutely crazy clutch imo

That clutch carried us to victory.

I remember when initially giving up with R4C3, we decided we were going to only do Mains because they are much easier than PE (was sick of playing a level for 2 hours just to keep losing).

Because of this decision, we only beat Main on R4D1 and I don’t remember that level even a little bit. We have to go back and do PE someday.

I recommend going for secondaries still as the tend to be mostly similar to main (a major exception being r8a2 lol)

After that we took a long break and went to R5. Beat all that on PE with lots of trying and am now at R5C2 Access, another level that has made us quit the game.

It does need to be full charge tho to do max dmg possible

Spears and hammers have no issue in that aspect (although spears do take slightly longer to full charge but Spear has an advantage in precision hits than hammer does)

Basically, spear have a higher precision hit modifier for dmg than hammer but is slower at full charging
