I like the original game. I like playing old stuff so I played the original for the first time like 20 years after it cane out (I’m 25 by the way) and it feels cery modern conpared to other shooters at the the time (except for maybe like Halo). Graphically it also looks great for the time, competing with things like RE4, Final Fantasy 12/13, Gran Turismo 4 (I’m just talking about graphics quality).

Story was pretty meh and the gameplay wasn’t impressive but it was challenging without being frustrating like some shooters back then. Every guns having a secondary fire gave a little more versatility with your 2 gun loadouts though, so that was cool.

I certainly liked it waaaaaaay more than Red Faction, another popular game from around that early PS2 gen (I want to say RF2 was the same year as Killzone?)
