Nothing against NVMes, but before getting an NVMe rather than a SATA, check for m2 slot compatibility, which slot getting it into (some MoBos deactivate an m2 slot if more than X SATA are in use) and remember to consider getting a small heatsink for the NVMe.

That being said even the worse slots I've seen reach around 2-3 times the speed of fast SATA SSDs which are usually around 500-600 MB/s read/write

Just dont expect the load times to be 2-3 times lower, that ain't how it works
