just some advice!
always ask to not be carried, make sure that everyone joinin ur lobby joins ur voice channel
and if you havent be sure to do the tutorial first [on the top left] and start on rundown 1 since its the simplest one

from what i have observed both kill most enemies in 1 headshot

but comparitivley revolver holds more ammo

no, hel revolver does less dmg, oneshotting smalls only with a headshot in exchange for more ammo, penetration, etc etc
slug shotgun oneshots tongue enemies [strikers] anywhere in the body in its range, but needs headshots for shooters, cause of this it has less ammo less mag and stuff

the fire rate really isnt that great and the sawed off shotgun does more dmg [30] while being faster

its rlly up to u and specially up to whats in the level

if u feel theres a ton of waves and fast enemies grouped, hel shottie is rlly good, if u feel more giants or stronger enemies, hel revo/specials shotguns can be greater

Me and my bud spent most of our night time experimenting with guns and tactics, and that was the most satisfying part. After some other games, pardon me for my scatterbrain approach, I did not expect such a variety from the very beginning.
