Im not the best person to talk about this, I got my fair share of hours since how hooked i got on this game and me having no life. However, personally and from what ive seen, the balance of the game weapons wise is fine overall, Some weapons have been getting hit hard resulting in them just being worse than other options BUT that doesn't make them unusable if ur just good and enjoy them. Some weapons better than the rest but all the guns have their uses and fun quirks with them, and again, even with certain weapons just not being to great on their own. A lot of the time even weapons u would never use can still shine in certain levels due to the enemies ur fighting. (Side note: shotgun sentry needs to be buffed, its just not good in basically any situation. Sniper sentry is fine and can be useful with long sightlines, hel is more for stunning stuff like charger waves, and burst is just king in most cases)

i think most specials are well balanced with two three expections, scattergun and sniper for the obvious reasons, and short rifle for being underpowered
u could talk a lot about HAR, pump shotgun, chokemod, but for me they are perfectly usable and fill a niche even if its in not the most efficient way
on mains tho it fluctuates a ton more just cause they are all supposed t be the same thing, weapons to take out smalls and more flexible situations [except for like 2], and i think those r more eh in balance, hel revo has just always been the top of the line and i believe it could get an ammo or reload cancel slap [not make it bullpup but make it longer], carbine could also use a recoil change in my opinion, and assault rifle needs some love on range or somethin to make it better
other than that i think the rest r fine, hel shottie its super powerful but sometimes [tho a nerf would be ok], sawed off could go back to 3 tbh, and on autos bullpup could go back to its r6 state
