if you are going in blind blind, i reccomend the play order of:

1. play all 6 missions of Rundown 1.
2. play all the A-tier missions from R2-7 (avoid secondary objectives and Overload objectives and stick to 'Main only' when given the option)

this order means you will get introduced to a higher variety of mechanics sooner, as wel as letting you get reps and practice as you find your feet

(the order of all of Rundown 1 -> Rundown 2 -> R3 -> R4 ect has so many problems i cannot discourage it enough)
that R1 -> R8 as a play order has some benefits, but so many walls so early it kills the momentum of the game. even though it introduces mechanics in the order they were added to the game

1. Play the tutorial. It'll teach you the basics so you can get up and ready for doing expeditions. I regret jumping into R1A1 immediately after getting the game
2. Play with friends! Honest to god real humans! The bots are atrocious and I wish I could teamkill bishop and hackett for always picking up shit I don't want them to and immediately using them
   2b. the official server has matchmaking tools to help you play with people here! I'd reckon you figure out how that works :)
3. You will die. A lot. Be prepared to lose upwards of an hour of progress at an alarm or checkpoint

although I definitely would not recommend playing GTFO on controller, some people have disabilities that prohibit them from playing games the way God intended (KbM), and cannot use consoles for whatever reason

if you didn't find a full team 2-3 human are enought for all the A and B roundown also C when you're skilled, remember in those case to give the scanner to the bot and to put "bot only" on him , if a friends join you he will not replace the scanner bot (for sure if you are 4 human leave the option) but in my experience starting with 2-3 human is better because scanning is not an easy process

i think this game is great but u need a lot of like commitment to learnin it, since u do need to learn a lot of it, know that is a stealth game for the most part and it is slow n tense

u can always buy it, play the tutorial, play the first level couple times and even complete it and it should be under two hours to know if to refund or not

just some advice!
for the LFG, always ask to not be carried, make sure that everyone joinin ur lobby joins ur voice channel
and for the game be sure to do the tutorial first [on the top left] and start on rundown 1 since its the simplest one

Deep Rock Galactic's Bosco has good utility but in combat you spend more time using it than fighting yourself (and doing so isn't effective)
