but if i’m losing repeatedly i don’t generally find that fun so im going to swap to another weapon that fills the niches that i need

do i like what 10c did with weapon balance? of course not

the state of the game they left it in is, in my opinion, embarrassing as hell, with how poor the game balance is, among other things

but if there’s a weapon that both feels satisfying to use and is going to help me complete a level, i sure as shit am not about to shy away from using it

something has to be going fiercely bad for me to take either of those guns (or a particular mood)

the game is a playground after all, most recent r4e1 (the pizza incident) was hel rev + combat shotty

but honestly as a whole pen and scatter are so massively game warping

but what it does is give you 2 specials essentially. Scatter completely breaks how you deal with encounters intended to be the scariest in the game
