on one side the experienced community rly wanted more difficulty. So levels were made more difficult (through optionals)
respawn rooms (and charger spam) were used to combat kiting that started being spammed in R4. Respawn rooms are a good mechanic, but it wasnt used very well in R5 at the start

its also where boosters came to be (since the beginner community wanted tools that made the game easier aswell as things to "play for" (lol)

At cage drop on R7D1 I immediately go from 144 down to like 110 on average, running around starting zone can drop me to 90 at times, and error towards room scan can drop me to 70-80 fps, and this is all as host, with lgtuner and bcgf active

As quite a few of you might have noticed, the Competitions/Challenges that were happening on this server have sadly stopped and might no longer be happening in the forseeable future.
We on the GTFO Speedrunning Server have thus decided to start working on holding events of such scope on that server for interested community members.

The aim is for there to be a variety of different game modes people can participate in that would happen every 2 weeks or every month depending on community engagement.
We intent to hold these challenges aswell as possible level specific races/challenges, with unique roles being obtainable for people participating in them!
