I recently played with someone on R4E1 and he basically first-tried it since he preferred to defend with 2 other vets while I solo fetched the code. After the fact I was pondering if clearing those reactors while you role is "to defend" is entertaining.

Like, I've done both and to be honest if I only did defend I'd feel ripped off of a good bunch of the content in that level.

I think it's an unforeseen result of the "let's split players" bit.
