If you're not using it that much, sure, but most of the game is not actually that ammo tight once you understand how to play guns effectively generally.

HEL Shotgun and HEL Revo are different degrees of themselves being capable of carrying wave clear, and Sawed-Off is a much stronger non-eco option.

regular is a headshot gun, its pretty alright. burst is mainly for constant uptime and decent ammo econ, it reloads and has no recoil (literally none) and hipfires, autopisstol is built for stagger and thats it

there are better options than those but you can certainly use them

GTFO is without a doubt one of the coolest concepts I’ve encountered for a game. And pulled off really well. It just never took off enough. I really hope people get inspired by it and make similar games.

yeah that combined with how much it punishes you if you don't also have 3 friends who also own the game. You can matchmake on this discord but there's so few newbies there that you'll end up getting people who know the whole game and can speedrun through levels while just dragging you along, so you don't actually learn much, and are likely just confused the whole time.

You can use bots but they're next to useless. The game is hard so not a lot of people will get into it. If you want to balance it for solo play you're left with mods

which, its okay for a game not to be accessible to a wide audience, thats not what the devs were going for. But it did hurt the game financially.

I see many complain about bots, but they are not that bad as people always say, big advantage of them that they are completely silent and a crazy good with a bio tracker, of course they do sometimes stupid things but players are sometimes doing much stupider things, so it balance it somehow out

I mean, experienced players are better than bots, don't get me wrong, but you can play and finish a lot of missions with only bots and you also learn more because you are forced to learn because you have to do everything by yourself

i personally like being completely alone in the complex. Literally just me, the dark, and the monsters within. I like playing with my friends more, but if i had a choice between playing with bots, and playing with nobody at all, i'd choose the latter. That's just me tho
