i have a group that's been playing off and on for about 2 months, we play about 15ish hours a week, and we've cleared about half of the levels, but we've also lost two weeks to speedrunning

the biggest barrier to progression will typically be surprise factors in the level that you learn about while doing it, so if you're going in 100% blind it's not too unlikely you'll die at least once and swap your loadouts accordingly

burst cannon gets a bit of ammo to help scatter since it's good for scouts and bosses (you don't want to be spending scatter on scouts if possible, burst cannon or hel rifle is better)

for cell zone itself it mostly comes down to being able to quickly figure out the threats in the room
ie do you have scouts? mothers? how many of each? and make a plan from there

Depends on the pubs you play with. From my experience, the pubs will waste all the disinfect packs and then when we get to the final alarm, they can't survive with the 15% hp they have so I usually go for the disinfect station and then use meds on the pubs before the final alarm.
