we conserved heavy ammo using mines early on and late. and for waves we'd pick off any projectile enemies and kite the melee. them down in the fog foam on the ladder covered the enemies for two alarms and then we kited them back to a side room and mined alarm 3-4

that way we all had 70+ on ammo each gun and a 4 use ammo left as well as a full burst sentry

@tired flame I think an important thing to note is that the cheese strat is just not the strongest strat.

Foam trivializes the 3rd and 4th alarms, but sentries also trivialize the 3rd alarm and the 4th alarm is so incredibly easy already since enemies are forced to spawn very far away, so you generally can complete it with just 1-2 waves of enemies.

Foam can be strong on the 5th and 6th alarms, but utilizing foam for these alarms requires very strict play in order to set it up properly. Instead you can just slap 2-3 sentries down on the floor for both of these alarms and don't need to worry about saving doors/pushing spawns/setting up ladder foam. This makes the execution barrier for sentry strats much easier, so sentries end up making these two alarms easier to execute when you consider everything together. And these are the two hard alarms, these are the ones you want to make easy.
