havent played in a long time, what are some good meta weapons to try, good turrets, and best setup for the bots?

for bots machineguns burst rifle works well, some swear by the burst cannon and the hel revolver too
on sentries, burst is the most flexible and usually the choice, sniper can be useful for long corridors and big enemies, auto is niche but fine as it has back damage and pierce, shotgun sentry exists

and on guns, there's just a lot but the better ones tend to be on main: hel shottie, hel revo, autopisstol, sawed off, carbine, dmr and some other i'm forgetting

and on special: combat shotgun, scattergun, hel gun, hel rifle, pump shottie, burst cannon and some other im forgettin

if u have any doubts about any specific u can always ask about it

Some ground rules before joining my lobby.

Everyone holds a different tool: This goes along with me always requesting to put the expert strats on hold. Going in off the bat with the most effective gear for an area rids part of the monotony that comes with me being new to said area. If I want to know anything, ill ask.

Do not wonder in other zones by yourself: If you're able to clear large swaths of Sleepers by yourself, cool. But it makes it easy for my brain to keep track of what's going on if we're all in the same room while doing so on the off chance you happen to mess up and alert the enemies.

Use terminals to plan routes and locate items: This mainly pertains areas that have one or many objective items scattered across the map. Even if we've deduced the general area, "finding it eventually" does NOT help. If we can ping the item, lets ping the item. Also, do not pre-query keycards to security doors. That's information we haven't even gotten to yet and may not even need.

All this may sound like I'm being a No-Nonsense Nancy but I assure that is not the case. Please understand I'm going through these levels f o r t h e f i r s t t i m e. I want to experience any surprises the game has in store. I don't mind any shenanigans we happen to get into so long as we aren't playing ahead of the game... I want to have 300-400+ hours into this game by the time I complete all the levels atleast once.

I did both ways (Overload after Main and Overload before Main)

I think before Main makes reactor somewhat a little more challenging but it feels less messy as along as you know where to go for Secondary

Overload after Main is longer and a little more "complex" but overall easier

I think it's the hardest R6 level tbh

R6D3 is just very solved (read „simple strats make the whole thing easier with knowledge“)

Its certainly hard blind, but ngl the chaotic combat of C3 already feels worse for that imo

(And with knowledge id say the hardest R6 levels are D4, C3 and a honorable menton to CX)

Realistically nowadays? Barely at all (consider that if you get there youd likely have beaten R2E1, R4E1, R5E1 and othet hard levels)

If you say its someone who skipped the E tiers and rly hard optionals. Then R6C2 maaaybe. R6C3 definetly

If its back in the day (someone who only had R6) as a newcomer or someone who skipped to R6 before even having gone to R2.
R6C1 was a big stall point back in the day. But if you include optionals R6C2 just brickwalled people
