• “magazine thing” aka shooter bug. iirc, it’s a unity bug when moving objects travel really far away from the world origin. which breaks something something physics calculations of shooter projectiles and cfoam collision among other things. and it helps that magazines aren’t always cleaned up properly between drops so it can be persistent until a relaunch.
• i’m 80% sure the sound bug (loosing all audio) is hardware specific as i’ve never been able to reproduce it.
• corpses don’t get cleaned up properly. so when killing a lot of enemies, that does supposedly eat up more memory

a reactor is ultimately 3 parts,
1 Wave Defense
2 gathering resources in between
3 getting the code into the terminal in time
If you already know how R1C1's reactor works, then its just the first two things you need, and they can go hand in hand

the most popular place to defend for many reasons is the bridge tile. the hole in the wall at the south end is a great choke point where you can get angles and focus your sentries, the bridge itself is a perfect funnel if/as you fall back, and its only about a 30 second run to the reactor terminal.

when you start looting after the shooting, you have quite a lot of resources around you to spend as the code person runs out and runs back. and on longer warm up times for the later codes, you have enough time to run forward and loot in previous areas.

when giants spawn having someone with a good weapon for bigs like hel rifle is useful (especially for hybrids) as well as saving tool by only having 2 sentries down for most waves, saving it for later waves or the waves with Hybrids (4, 6, 8).

this is definitely a 3 sentry + 1 bio tracker level, and when you learn all sentries are not created equal.
Burst is the best all-arounder.
Sniper sentry thrives with bio tracking and the long sight lines on this level.
shot gun sentry is in the game
Autosentry is in the game.

if you have a bot, they are a boss with the biotracker so give them that, and if you have three bots god go with you.

2nd room after 1st surge, i go 2 melee the 1st scout (he was very close 2 door) and the guy then shoots it right as i go for melee. Which triggers the other scout, which causes us 2 wipe cause i had 2 use all the ammo on 1st surge (had 2 kite quite a bit).

The guy then proceeds 2 complain about how i was gonna wake up the scout and how i got us all killed, i explain that it was HIS shot that woke up the room + scout and how you should melee, not shoot, when there is 2 scouts in the room. He then proceeds 2 say "im gonna keep shooting scouts since that works well for me" and then immediately left.

As for the competition itself there would be multiple categories and the top 3 in each will win and get the special red role.

R6AX is crazy with bots. That was such a bout of endurance but was SUPER fun overall

So I was just doing early rundown levels waiting for that one to pop up to see if I'd remember it

what about dealing with the fog when you dont have a item for it

there should be plenty fog repeller consumables on the level, u just need to sorta use them right and make sure to waste none
depending on if u have a team u can send someone to fog dive for cells and then at the end disinfect them, or pull rooms and use as little fog repellers to traverse rooms

gotta sort of have a route based on which rooms ur interested on cleaning

just some advice
always ask to not be carried, make sure that everyone joinin ur lobby joins ur voice channel
and if ur new, be sure to play the tutorial and start on r1/r6 as they are the easiest/simplest rundowns

sorta in that getting carried can ruin the experience and leaves you unprepared for harder content when you have to contribute more in order to clear the level

a lot of the game's appeal comes from learning the mechanics and getting good, but that's not everyone
