Precision rifle is a utility pick (thermal) that shines extremely hard against shadows.
Its among the best scout killers (specifically shadows) and is a pretty great off boss killer (better against mom than sniper by a landslide, similarly great into tank. Slightly worse into kraken)

It works like the revolver, focusing on headshotting targets. This meand its incredibly shit vs chargers and pretty bad vs giant strikers.

But it makes it an ok choice against smalls and nightmares
