Because then, you are able to massively damage her while she is spawning, which is when she is completely motionless.

If you are crossing the pit in C, tank will typically rush you first, and you can fight him on his own while mom is milling about on the other side.

If you have the tank error consistent, you should really not have a problem fighting tank in a timely fashion.

Killing mom first is very unstable w/ your loadout @crude isle

Because you're not kitted to kill her right away

and after you inevitably don't one-cycle her, tank is going to be damaging you non-stop, and any downs makes mom even harder to kill and baby waves get way more dangerous.

Which is why tank first is generally preferred, because most groups will not run triple boss kill.
