but there are 2 websites that give you passcode already so you do not have to find it in game

Have a bio tracker with you (generally just the right idea) and 3 burst sentries. Maybe a sniper sentry if you want that instead of a third burst sentry

Dont place all sentries down for every wave immediatly. Only if somebody goes down or theres giants coming. (You can place burst sentries right next to each other, but sniper sentry should be somewhat alone without the other 2 sentries)

Dont have someone camp on the reactor

you need ~20-30 seconds to run from the bridge to the reactor. And you only need to input the code at the end of the code timer. (Which is ~45 seconds long).
Enemies dont keep spawning in if you delay it since Reactors always spawn the same amount of enemies per wave

Since the warm up becomes longer and longer you will get more time to loot. So loot the bridge zone empty first. Then Around code 5 or later you might need to start sending people into the other zone with ressources

They kill most things, you get lured into a sense of security, then they run out of ammo and you get curbstomped by the sudden overwhelming increase in difficulty

Guns are technically fine.
For the full team id recommend having at least 1 heavy hitting guns (or preferably just take that and a hel rifle/gun) to kill the giants easier.

Guns good vs giants sadly arent the best (or the best at reactors) right now. Sniper is pretty shit, Scattergun has low range.
So id recommend Burst cannon (doesnt pack quite the same punch but 2-3 bursts easily kill giants and its ammo efficient vs smalls too if you kill 2 with a burst (shoots 3 bullets, that 1 shot on body)
