It's a mix of them doing maps in order and the only other reactor before that is R1C1 and a big deal about mismanaging resources and tbh just doing little damage

enemies dont die and you get overrun while having ressources? - setup tools better and shoot better (maybe gun/tool choices)
ressources run out? when? - ressource management (placing all sentries), looting, gun/tool choice or bad shooting

Real answer: hold the big bridge. It's an amazing choke point and grants you lots of range to take enemies out before they reach you.
HEL Rifle is an S tier pick for that level as it easily gets multi kills when they round corners.
Brings 3 sentries.
Once they start spawning from other directions - just point a sentry there and have someone keep an eye on it.

due to how reactors work enemies will spawn 3 rooms away from you in 2 directions and 2 in 1
this means you generally have to wait longer for waves to get to you. This doesnt even take into consideration that the funnel itself makes the 2 room spawns take longer than normal

you will basically always get enemies trickling once the actual wave is over

After that they went inside for refuge and called for reinforcements... no one was there... They looked back and saw me sprinting towards them. One of them yelled "Go! I'll hold him off!" as he charge towards the alarm door to close. As they left, they turned and looked back as they saw their friend hopelessly closing the alarm door, But before they could see it, the other sleepers from the far side has turned off the reactor, only screams could be heard from behind... the screams of cries and demise followed with a loud bang of a weapon. They stood still... They waited in silent... The room filled with darkness as the lights of hope fade away... They stood still. Footsteps... "I hear footsteps.." Whispered the sleeper. "Shh! Be quiet... Don't make a sound...". Standing still behind the large pipes of steam and rust, they crouched as they quietly listened.
