The sound wasn't there when I used speakers (or maybe I couldn't hear it with them) and isn't audible in any other game. Ayone know if this is normal? What are the main triggers for waking up enemies

Me and my friends recently got to playing the game

And we just can't get our hands on how stealth works

We can sometimes all be standing still and no flashlights

And enemies wake up

Sometimes we fuck up , fail to kill an enemy and the rest of the room dosen't wake up

Any tips to do stealth better?

1. use your ears. clicking, snoring, pulsing, stop (depends on distance tho) .. 2) eyes, if u see an enemy starts to raise its head, its starting to scan, stop (depends on distance tho) .. 3) learn to use flashlight to sync enemy waking patterns. 2 or 3 sweeps (wait for them to go back down in the middle) and u know all enemies your light touches are synced. coordinate kills when all synced enemies are certifiably sleeping.

4. never tap w while crouching if an enemy is pulsing or glowing, that counts as movement and stirs them up. do it enough, they wake.

5. keep an eye on teammates, see a flashlight on, say it out loud. check yours by looking at your feet and hitting f a few times. sometimes even u forget.

once u get the hours in, u can use the "starting to scan" phase to actually non-crouching walk close the distance to an enemy or a cluster of enemies, just stop as they start pulsing.

after some hours, u can just walk from enemy to enemy charging and releasing melee to clear the entire room almost non-stop.

They have a “Field of View” and when they are glowing they “hear” further. Within a couple meters they will auto trigger from killing enemies. If they are turned around and a little further away from auto trigger range, they won’t wake up versus one that is facing towards you. They have longer “hearing” range when they light up which can cause one deeper into the room to trigger

A common trick you can use is take one of your guns with a strong white light and swipe it across all enemies. This will sync up all the enemies on the same cycle allowing you to have all of them “quiet” as you go for stealth kills

I forget the exact ranges but if someone has a bio tracker, if they are next to an enemy you are trying to kill, anything within the first ring will typically auto trigger from attacking/killing the enemy
