If you assume lower accuracy things get even worse for the burst pistol. the 2+2 is actually making it look better than it is in practice, since that extremely hard to land. If you only land 3/4 bullets and then you need a third burst. Other guns you just fire 1 more bullet. Also, when you fire it the bullets don't go where you aim, there is a big gap so a lot of skill required to get them to land together. I sure can't. I literally am unable to get 2 bullets on the head.

of 2 normal scouts in the zone, kill 1, and 2 bots unload on the second activating/waking one before it screams.. and the rest of the sleepers in the room stay asleep. not possible.

If it’s only issues with waves at the end for r8d2 it’s possible that there are bugs with checkpoints. There was a bug that doubled up waves if a checkpoint was used. But it could also be setup of different teams and spawns that can factor into it

on main, burst rifle works very well for its range but u could swap it for an auto or maybs even a carbine
