So not only does sawed off deal more damage than the s870, same spread, but it also has 50% longer damage falloff, and has 2x the maximum ammo, and a 2x stagger mult. strange times
tbh the sound and looks of the gun makes people think its weaker than it really is

spread is widly different the normal shottie its way more compact while on sawedd off ur are at the face point blank or it is not guarantedd NO MATTER the enemy
it doesnt have 50% longer dmg, its 4 meters vs 6, and sawed off has SO MUCH SPREAD it doesnt matter AT ALL
it does not have 2x ammo, its about 40 vs 30, sawedd off wins on that but also by having half the mag and again all of its negatives
and the stagger its not really important since both deal so much dmg they basically stagger with every shot

The crosshair lies. I shoot the wall and they are the same. All their spread is the same in the datablocks too afaik, the only difference is the crosshair.

So damage wise they are spread across different #s of pellets which might affect TTK against smalls.

8 pellets on sawed off vs 10 on regular. However sawed off has a hair more total damage.
Not sure which is better, I would assume smaller number of pellets would be better as host at least based on what I've been told. But specific breakpoints probably matter more.
