Pretty much. When it comes to chargers - you use your special and then kill last 1-2 with your main, at which point most of them do just fine in mag dumping one of them.

Hell, even HELPP can kill one... In 30 bullets... At point blank range...

So 40-50 in practice, accounted for misses and what not.

Most of them are fine one way or another, just avoid using HEL AutoPistol since its not supposed to kill enemies, but stunlock them instead for teammates. Which is a niche and ungrateful job.

Basic Pistol, SMG, AR are great starting choices. Simple to understand and to use.
Later you can try Bullpup - it's like a ranged side grade to assault rifle with increased mag and longer reload.

Specials are fairly balanced for the most part, so pick one that makes most sense to you and your skill. Heavy Rifle, High Cal Pistol and any of the shotguns are a great start.
