- Sniper Rifle is the winner every time if you can hit the head.
- Scattergun for point blank rip'n'tear.
- Burst Cannon if you can't quite bother with headshoting or touch-close distance of the other two, but do consider that it "only" deals 110 damage per burst and will leave an average giants with 10 health left over that you'll have to finish somehow.
- Choke Mod Shotgun can be mag dumped into one in a second, but its exactly 1 mag = 1 giant, and if you miss even a single pellet that's a survivor.
- Among mains HEL Shotgun can kill them surprisingly quickly (not as quick as weapon above) and it staggers them into oblivion while at it.

Burst is much more effective if there aren't good runways, and if you need to save tool you just use less of them at once.
Most alarms also have doors that you can use with foam and mines, as opposed to just sentries.

Depends on weapon again, but that's the rough values you want to go for.
So, you want to be hitting 82% Main when you get down to 67% Special and vise versa.
If you do not vibe very well with HEL Gun,
HAR and HCP are both good weapons that are easy to understand and which encourage you to optimize combat fundamentals to get better with them.
The MGs have more aspects to the weapons that you have to learn, but they perform very well in wave clear even if the user isn't particularly cracked.

there's tons of online resouces on steam, youtube,... But i highly advice you to just go slowly in A-tier missions. Make a lot of experiements and observe the results. Learn slowly but steady, so you won't waste time in harder missions.

Don't worry about it, i think the game is meant to be played with a bit of a trial and error -loop, and everyone inevitably fumbles sometimes. Part of the process is also learning to recover from situations when things don't go smoothly to plan
